Life Insurance Defined

There are a few different policies that you have to be aware of before asking for a life insurance quote. One of them being a term assurance which is usually cheaper than a whole of life policy because it can be for a short time, say 10 years where if within the term specified you have an accident or in the event of your death then the insurance company will pay out a lump sum to your next of kin. Term assurance is far easier to obtain and although you may need a medical, depending on how long the term is, the medical may not be so strict. It may incorporate providing your medical bills if you incur any.
The other policy that we may want to consider when having a life insurance quote is a whole of life policy which means exactly what it says, you pay monthly payments and you are covered for the whole of your life against possibly accidental death or accidental injury where you cannot work and therefore do not get paid by your employers, in other words the policy will pay you a monthly salary until you are able to go back to work. The other great benefit of considering a whole of life policy when having a life insurance quote is that if you have a life changing disease or life changing disability then you may receive compensation in the way of a lump sum and/or a monthly salary for the rest of your life. This makes great sense when considering what may happen to you in your lifetime.
