Google Monopoly

Anyone Else and The Monopolies Commission Would be Involved!

The rapid expansion of the Google Empire has escalated beyond control, its' emphatic monopolization now dominates the "Information Super Highway". Unfortunately, the situation has spiraled out of control with Google taking more than a lion's share. Please don't get me wrong I am a firm believer in competition being healthy, after all it can only make you stronger. However, this is now not the case with the internet. Google have now completed Global Monopolization of what is supposedly the biggest marketplace for free enterprise. Whose very foundations where built on the basis that David could compete with Goliath.

For the last 18 years the internet has become a portal for creating wealth. There are a lot of individuals, small business and corporations who have created masses of wealth through the art of entrepreneurship and marketing a free enterprise. Now whether that derived via Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Search Engine Optimization or Home Based Business Opportunities is completely irrelevant. The hard fact remains that it was free, and they could compete. For years people could freely choose which market to target and which engine to use to do so. In recent years Google has developed an uncontrollable stronghold which has lead to what can only be described in other industries as a Monopoly. WAKE UP NOW PLEASE!! LifeAfterGoogle.com

Their total annihilation of competors has quite literally lead to the internet becoming a Google Monopoly, and no longer the Free Enterprise it has always been heralded to be. This has lead to uproar within the online community with some business owners seeing their paid search costs increase by more than 100% as a direct result of specific guidelines Google put in place. Obviously this is not sustainable as a viable business option for most, unless they have managed to achieve effective organic growth, and even then it puts huge pressure on that particular side of the business.

There are certain corners of the Internet Marketing & Affiliate Marketing community who are questioning Google's rationale. In implementing such procedures and guidelines Google are quite blatantly dictating the market and favoring the Multi-National Corporations such as Toyota, Sony and Nintendo. Is this end for Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, SEO & Home Based Business??

Now without reading between the lines too much, it is crystal clear where Google are going with this. I have said for a long time now that the internet will be completely governed by one engine and as a result cyberspace will cease to be a place for free enterprise.

How many other industries would allow one company to monopolize a free market in such a way? In fact if you look even deeper, Google retain more personnel information than would be considered acceptable by most government agencies. With the power of cookies they are able to store and collate information on our internet habits, ecommerce, spending and browser usage.

To make matters worse there's a cloud of suspicion surrounding their latest offering "Google Chrome" and the genuine reasoning behind it. The general consensus is based on the following theory, a platform is a layer controlled by one company that creates an ecosystem for other companies who then make that layer usable. Past versions include Amazon.com (which allows many other companies to sell things), EBay (ditto), and Microsoft (whose Windows gave birth to millions of software products). Platforms aren't necessarily that bad when they work, users get what they want, the platform company makes money, and every other company that jumps aboard can make profits too.

The major threat which could prevail is that the layers of commerce are reforming, and the ground that guides the new flow of profits is being shifted by yet another god-like owner, i.e. Google. The new platform that they are Building "Google Chrome" is a bit different, it's basically a browser that's a portal to the internet. One question could be asked - "Is it a good thing to have the company who organizes all of the world's information online now own the platform that enables every other company to turn information into commerce?" If this takes hold then it could quite simply be Darwinian Evolution as the consolidation of all other engines leads to one giant making information flow seamlessly across the information superhighway.

The end is near, as technology continues to develop and become faster, easier to use and more transparent there will eventually become a time when all data sources will become compatible. Thus creating the need for only one system, the internet's data software cloud will only need one Google.

Be warned the Abyss is approaching! During this decade we may have become witness not just to the birth of an Internet Giant but more worryingly to the Creation of a Matrix! You had better act now or hope that Google come in peace???

Does this spell the end for Internet Marketing or Affiliate Marketing, SEO or even Home Based Business?? Only you have the answer and power to help prevent this happening!

Can't anyone else see what's actually happening here??
