- J.K. Rowling has to be one of the most amazing people in the world. I love Harry Potter. <3 I will be reading and re-reading the series for a very, very long time to come, and maybe writing my own stories, though none will ever be quite as real as Harry Potter.

While I take umbrage with your choice of punishment..... I miss Harry Potter, but I found Septimus Heap (by Angie Sage). Not as good as Harry Potter, but fun reading nevertheless. I also just finished Eragon and hope to read later books in the series. I tried reading Twilight, but, while I like the book most of the way, I did NOT like the ending and, because of that, I haven't gone on in the series. I read "A Wrinkle in Time" a number of years ago (more sci-fi than fantasy, but a good read, too) but couldn't get into the other books in that series.

- After I finished book 7 of the HP series, I started on The Hobbit by Tolkien. It was a great read, but right after, I started on the HP books again and read it from book 1-7. ^_^ Then I bought The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy - really funny book this - but then between 1 or 2 chapters, I take a peek of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Will I ever be cured of this HP obsession? I hope not haha...

- Absolutely brilliant lens, one of my new favorites. I'm planning on writing about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (I JUST finished reading it for the first time after putting it off for 3+ years) and I'll be lensrolling this lens to mine once I finally have it finished...I'm still in the stages of trying to figure out what to do with myself post-Hogwarts...this is when I wish I had lots of money and could go to the theme park in Florida!

- I know what I'm going to be doing now that Harry Potter has finally finished. I'm going to be reading a new fantasy series called Swords of a Catonia. Die hard potter fans should find a thrill in this daring and epic fantasy series. A young boy named Draime Ralington has been chosen by the gods to travel the world for four elemental swords of power. But along the way he of course runs into fantastic and fearsome danger while running into lovable and unique characters who join him on his quest.
There will be 6 of the books! So the craze and desire to keep it going will last a long while! Look to it people if you love Harry Potter!!! :)

- I just love this lens - 5* from me, and like you I've also been wondering what to read/look forward to now that the series is over! I read all of Twilight and liked the first 2 books but I have to say that I still keep going back to Harry & the gang. JK Rowling is a genius.

- I think it would be cool if Jo wrote a book or something about the 19 years gap between the end of the wizarding war and the epilogue. There must have been so much happening if Harry, Ron and Hermione revolutionized the Ministry and the way things are done, not to mention it would be cool to hear more about of various other much loved HP friends.
I have read all the Harry Potter books back to back 6 times and still can't put them down, I even brought the audio books for a new way to read/hear them and wasn't disappointed. I don't think I could ever get bored of reading HP, I have read a heap of other books too and I have to say that if it's a good book it doesn't matter how many times you read it, you will always find yourself lost in the pages and imagination of the book and Harry Potter is one of those books.
Thanks so much to Jo for sharing such an epic and enchanting piece of her imagination with us.

- Well, the answer is clear now. The Tales of Beedle the Bard will be released later this year. I'm so excited I made a lens on it. In fact, I'm lensrolling this lens onto it and adding it to my list of featured lenses....

- Wotcher! When HP7 arrived, I sat down and finished it in one sitting, finishing up around 3:30 am. Went to bed, woke up, and read it again, taking a few breaks this time - finished in under two days, but caught a few things I had missed the first read, LOL! This is a fantastic lens - I hadn't heard that JK was writing an encyclopedia, I'm chuffed! You've got some great "after" suggestions on here, though I've read most of them, but I didn't see Fablehaven - HIGHLY recommended! 5 stars & faved!

- hey everybody man i jut read deathly hallows again and i just can't get over it
no pressure on j.k but i hope that encyclopedia comes out soon, i love the magical world and everyday wish to be part of it. Man if only i could sit with j.k in one room with the seven books i would ask her a 1000 questions atleast.
And here's some advice people why not just right every question you've ever wanted to ask j.k maybe if ur lucky and i mean really lucky u can look back at them and ask her.
But this blog is a tribute to j.k and all her work she really thought her story through and the wonderful thing is that she made one of the best endings you could think off all though i wanted to know a little more but the encyclopedia will give me that so thanks j.k ur a real legend.

- I tried reading Artemis Fowl and did not enjoy the writing style. Eragon was better. Besides Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Amber is my other favorite fantasy series, though it's not a children's book. I also read the Princess Bride book and it's good too.
