Getting Back Into The Job Market You Need To Look Your Best

The stress of losing a job can and more-than-likely will show on your face.

To give yourself some self-confidence by having your skin look as good and as young as possible. I know that you might think that this would be in the "vanity" category however, it has been proven that when you think you look your best you portray a more personable and self-confidant image.

And who do you think that the interviewer is going to be more apt to think best of, the applicant who comes in feeling timid and mousy or one that walks in knowing that they look good?

How Do I Know That LifeCell Works?

You'll see many site selling products and making them wonderful, yet they have never even tried the product.

I personally use LifeCell. It took me a while before I was going to spend more than $75 on a facial product, but after I saw the guarantee and figured that I had nothing to lose. So I pulled out my credit card and placed an order.

My box arrived a few days later and I was very excited to try it, so I put it on immediately. I looked in the mirror and didn't notice a drastic change, but my fine lines and wrinkles were less noticeable.

So I continued for a few more days, and although my skin seemed smoother, I wasn't sure if it was my imagination. I then continued my regime with LifeCell a few more days. Again, I thought that I was seeing a bit of a change but couldn't tell for sure.

At that time I realized that I should have been using LifeCell only on one side of my face so that I could compare.

About once a month I go out to lunch with a few old coworkers. Nothing fancy, just a jeans and t-shirt kind of a place. I have not been been one to wear a lot of make-up and on my skin. Besides eye make-up and lipstick, I just wear blush - no concealer, foundation, no type of cover up.

Met my friends in the lobby and I started to receive complements on how rested and healthy I looked. Then when we were seated, we were seated by the window and that's when I heard - my gosh, your skin looks wonderful, what have you been doing? Well at that time I wasn't even thinking about the LifeCell, I just felt good.

Later that night as I was getting ready for bed I took a good look at my skin & agreed, it really did look good.

I'm now a firm believer in LifeCell.

So maybe I didn't see huge results the first few days, but I did see results. ( you'll actually see a difference within seconds of trying LifeCell - so get a digital camera ready so that you can see your own before and after changes. Then you can see for yourself the instant benefits and also how your skin will look over time.)
Results that were noticed by friends. And yes, I have shared my secret with them.

It wasn't until I used LifeCell did I decide to share this product with everyone that I know.

Do You Have Combination Skin ?

Here Are 6 Tips and Steps For a Healthy Glow

Combination skin is when you have certain areas on your face that are dry and others that are oily.

Usually, the oily part of your face is in what is called the "t-zone" or the area of your forehead, nose and chin.

How can you be certain you have combination skin?

If you have combination skin, the skin on your cheeks and chin might feel tight or dry after washing your face, and after a short time your nose and forehead get oily. In this "t" zone you are also prone to blackheads and blemishes.

The first step you can take to treat and care for your combination skin is to cleanse. Look for products that are made specifically for combination skin and use it twice a day.
This will help combat the oily skin on the "t-zone" and help keep other parts of the skin healthy. Make sure that you keep your face clean and free of residues at night. This is a good step to take towards caring for combination skin.

The second step to care for combination skin is to moisturize. When you have combination skin, some parts of your face might be oily, but other parts are dry and flaky. You cannot ignore the dry skin when treating the oily skin. The answer is to use moisturizer on the dry skin only. Products made for dry skin will help hydrate the dull and flaky skin. Try to keep the moisturizer off of the oily skin.

The third step is to balance your skin. There are many products that can help normalize your skin. Look for those that have alpha hydroxy acids, or retinol, which is a vitamin A product. Also, use a toner everyday to help keep the skin in balance.
Steer clear of products that contain alcohol because that can irritate dry skin. Use toner at least once a week to combat combination skin.

The fourth step is to control the skin by eating healthy and drinking plenty of water. When you practice a healthy diet, you can take a big step in controlling the quality of your skin. Fatty and greasy foods are not good for any type of complexion. Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and try healthier oils. Drinking water will also help by hydrating your skin the natural way.

The fifth step is to use appropriate make up. Make up that contains oil-absorbing properties will help your appearance. Oil-free make up and make up that is labeled as non-comedogenic will help by minimizing the chances to pimples and blackheads. Another important part of skin care is to make sure make up is thoroughly removed each night before bed. Never go to bed with make up on because it can cause skin irritations.

The sixth step is to use a good sunscreen. Look for sunscreens with an SPF of at least 15. Using a daily sunscreen will help ensure that your skin does not become sunburned, which leads to dry skin.

There are several varieties of sunscreen that are made specifically for daily use on the face. In addition, look for moisturizers and make ups that already contain sunscreen for added benefit. Using sunscreen everyday, even in the winter, will help ensure that you have a healthy glow to your skin.

Anti Aging Skin Care Tips

The skin on your face is usually the first visible sign of aging. This is why anti aging products and anti aging treatments tend to focus on keeping the skin looking young, youthful. and clear.

If you think about. it, your skin is the largest organ of your body and no matter what type of clothing you wear, there will always be part of your skin showing - so why not take good care of it.

With a few simple steps you can start to look better and when you look better you feel better.

To begin with, you'll need to nourish your skin from the inside out. You can use all of the anti again and wrinkle creams on the top layer of your skin but if you skin in general isn't in good condition, they can help but not as much as they would if they had a good foundation to work with.
Think - balanced diet.

These are the "grow" the "go" and "glow" foods.
For the glow category think of green leafy veggies and the super food for your skin Salmon. Yes, salmon is excellent in helping your skin look terrific.

Green leafy veggies in addition to concentrated nutrients all loaded with water, and water helps to hydrate your skin.

Plus the anti-oxidants in your veggies & salmon help reduce the effects of premature aging and help keep your skin young and supple.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

Try to drink at least half your body weight in ounces in pure water every day. For example: if you weight 150 pounds, you should be drinking 75 ounces of water per day. If you live in a dry climate or are very active you should up that amount. a bit.
Now this may seem like a lot of water and really you should depend upon water and not soda or coffee to calculate this quantity, however we are all living in the real world and many of us drink soda, coffee and energy drinks. So it can't be stressed enough that you need clean pure water to hydrate your body & skin you can add up the total of liquids you drink to come to your ounce quantity.

You should know that coffee, soda and energy drinks do work against you when you are trying to get glowing skin.

Yes, I know that in the news lately there has been talk about not needing as much water and that drinking water does not hydrate the skin. However, top models who rely on having beautiful skin say that they notice a difference in their if their water intake drops. Again - the word is water - not coffee or soda.

There have also been many dermatologists stating that a good supply of pure water is the first step to a clear, bright and subtle skin.

The water will also help flush out toxins in the body and part of this process involves releasing waste through perspiration. So along with drinking lots of water, engage in regular exercise to keep your skin healthy.

Another way to keep your skin young and youthful is by keeping it clean.

Exfoliating helps keep the skin clean while washing away dead skin cells that tend to make our skin look dull and lifeless. Be sure however to use the appropriate types of exfoliants for the proper parts of the body.

What you use on your body isn't appropriate for your face. Only use facial exfoliantson your face. However you can use your facial exfoliants on your body but normally facial exfolianys are more expensive so you may want to purchase body exfoliants.

Quality sleep is also an important factor needed to look good. It is during sleep that our bodies begin to repair the damage done to our skin and body during the day.

This is why it is very important to get enough sleep to allow our bodies to heal and repair itself.
Even notice that when you stay out late at night your skin just doesn't look as good the next day? Now imagine day after day, the toll that a lack of sleep can do to your skin (and the rest of your body.)

Help your skin look better by gentling cleaning and moisturizing your skin before you go to bed. Without exception.

LifeCell Tip That's Often Over Looked

Before you apply LifeCell to your skin, you should rub it in between your two index fingers to activate the ingredients.

Since you only need a small amount of LifeCell skin cream the amount you need easily fits on your index finger.

Also when you rub the cream it thins it, and makes it easier to spread evenly without wasting any.

Chapped Lips?

Chapped lips aren't just annoying because your lipstick doesn't sit right but can also be sore and tender.

Most people get chapped lips more often in cold, windy and dry weather or when exposed to the outdoors for long periods of times - think winter cold and indoor dry heat. Sunburns can also cause lips to become chapped and painful.

You lips, unlike most of your skin do not have oil glands so that they can not replenish moisture during the day.

One of the best things that you can do to treat and prevent dry, chapped lips is to use moisturizing lip balm or a moisturizer on your lips. Lip balm is inexpensive and is easy to find at almost every grocery or department store. Look for a lip balm that contains beeswax, vitamin E and a sunscreen for the best results. There are dozens of brands to choose from and they can run about $1 up to $25 or $30 (yes, $25 for a lip balm). Is there a big difference between the $1 one and the $25 one - not really.

I like to alternate between a lip balm in the stick form and a roll on one. The roll on doesn't seem to protect as well but if your lips are dry they feel very refreshing. They are also lip balms in a "compact" or small round container style and these are also very nice.

Try to avoid flavored lip balms as you may be tempted to lick your lips which in turn will cause them to dry out.

My favorite lip balm is Burts Bees Lip BalmBurts bees lip balm

If you wear dentures, dry lips can be caused by dentures that don't fit properly as they will often cause a bit of wetness around the lips or you use your tongue to lick your lips where the dentures hit . If you suspect this is the reason for your dry lips, speak to your dentist and have the dentures refitted. The same goes for other dental devices, such as retainers, braces or dental partials. If you have poor fitting dental devices, this can cause you to breathe out of your mouth instead of your nose . This will quickly dry out your lips causing dry, cracked lips.

Be sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated but be sure to dry your lips after drinking or apply more lip balm. Although, you may think that water on the lips hydrates, it actually does the opposite. Oils hydrate the lips and water or licking the lips dries them out.

To make your bottom lip look fuller, use a lighter shade of frosted or glossy lip color in the center of your lower lip.

Going To The Spa - Why Not Get A Facial?

A spa treatment can sooth and relax the body and soul. They help you to reduce stress; smooth muscles out and even relax your mind and body. Spas are a way to escape the world if only for a little while.

Getting a facial can help you look better and help you feel better all while you lay back and relax. It cleans your skin by helping to get rid of dead skin cells.

A facial will help to hydrate your skin while smoothing you face at the same time.

You could get a deep-cleansing facial that will feature a botanical peel and essential oils which is targeted to your skin type.

Another type is the oxygenating facial. For revitalizing dull looking skin, it usually contains a series of vitamins that will brighten your complexion.

Facial treatments at the spa are often under $25 and will make you feel like a million!

Tips for Choosing A Blusher

Most flattering formulation: Blushers come in cream, powder, and cream-powder formulations.

Cream formulations or cream-powder blushers are most flattering to dry or mature skin. Powder blushers can and will accentuate lines and wrinkles and for a sheer barely there color try a blusher gel.

Colors for all
Warm shades of blush that contain more yellow than red are more forgiving of mature skin. "Virtually any woman looks beautiful in warm shades of peach and pink," Milek says.
If you have gray hair, use shades of pink, rose, plum, or mauve. "They complement gray hair beautifully, no matter what your skin tone," says Geller.
Just remember that as we age, we should tone down our makeup and stay away from current fads. Fads usually are meant for younger women in their early 20's and younger. Once you hit 25 make your look more subdued and you will look smashing for your age and actually look younger.

Eye Makeup Tip

A soft smudge of liner around your eyes and a coat or two of mascara can make your eyes appear bigger and brighter. And if you have droopy lids, a subtle application of the right eye shadow can help bring them out of hiding.

Speaking of mascara if your over 30 don't wear black mascara - it will make you look older. Instead try a dark gray, dark brown or even navy. These colors will give you a softer look.

Try to stay away from new eye liner fads - they will just make you look older and will draw attention to any eye wrinkles that you may have.

Lipstick Tip

To counteract the effects that time can have on your lips ( they actually are less full as we age) and get fuller looking lips, choose light - to medium-colored lipstick and a matching lip liner.
Be sure that your lip liner, if you choose to use one, matches your lipstick color very closely. Never wear a lip liner more than 1 shade away from your lipstick.

Keep in mind that lighter colors tend to make lips appear larger and fuller, while darker colors will shrink them. The same goes for lip liner, says Pat Ely, a makeup artist in Walnut Creek, California. "A lot of women like to use a dark liner to outline their lips, thinking it will make them stand out, but darker colors will only make lips look smaller."

Be sure to match your liner color to your lipstick color. Or if you prefer, don't bother with liner except for evening wear.

    Sam,
You will find that all products that are related to the care of the skin may be used by either men or women. It's just that it seems then men age more gracefully than women do so most advertisements are geared towards women. Men seem to wear their wrinkles better.
