Discover how to handle stress better 

Does the smallest thing leave you feeling stressed? Do you live in a very stressful environment or find it very hard to handle any amount of stress? As you're aware this isn't good for your body, mind or spirit and you can see that other people are able to handle stress better than you. It would feel quite a relief to know how to deal with stress and this is possible with the help of life coaching.

Life coaching can help with techniques and ideas on how to handle stress generally and in a way that suits you personally. Because everyone is different, what helps one person deal with stress, might not work for you in the same way. Professional life coaches will more importantly get to the root of the problem, instead of just papering over the cracks. Getting the the root of your problems with stress usually involves the coach asking lots of questions, and listening carefully to all that is being said, and what is not being said. It might be that you're feeling stressed from a situation that is currently going on and you need some help in dealing with this. It could be you're moving house, being made redundant, have family problems, illness or any other aspects of your life that are making you feel stressed. Even if you're someone who usually copes with stress well, some situations show up that you're not equipped to deal with.

A Life coach knows how to deal with the specific problems causing the stress and will guide you with both new techniques and strategies, and ones you may have heard of before but aren't using regularly. The support and proactive nature of a coach can be just the right help you need at this time of crisis so that you can handle it as well as possible.

Feeling overwhelmed and not enough time to relax 

Do you feel completely overwhelmed with all that you have to get done at work and home? Does finding time to relax always come at the bottom of your to-do list? This can feel very stressful and also means that you're often missing out on so many good aspects to life. When you're feeling like this it can be quite difficult to make changes and move beyond this on your own. With the supportive help of a life coach this can be so much easier.

The first step a life coach takes with you is to identify what specifically is overwhelming you and then to discover with you how to reduce that overwhelm and claim back some of your time. Life coaching challenges you to put yourself as a person first and holds you accountable to that challenge. Although this may feel quite tough to start with, its what's needed and will give you the results of less to do and more free time.
