Setting up your lifelike triceratops that children can ride is so easy
Before your youngster goes for his or her first ride, an adult will need to prepare KOTA.Don't worry, the included instruction booklet makes it easy to snap his tail in place and secure his furry coat over it. For those of us who are not very technical - that would describe me!, there is an excellent illustration of how to use a Philips head screwdriver to insert six "D" cell batteries in KOTA's belly to provide power.
Note to self - you will need to buy these batteries as they are not included. Imagine your child's face if Kota can't "wake" up as Santa Claus forgot the batteries!
Once the batteries are in, just flip KOTA's power switch to "Play" or "Music" mode and let the fun begin.
Kota the Triceratops looks very like Cera from the Land before Time. Although his green and brown coat looks scaly, it is actucally soft, furry, and kid-friendly.
Kota appears to have his own personality with his wide, blinking eyes and his wiggling horn and head tossing.
Your child can play with their lifelike triceratops
But do take care and watch your younger kids when they first ride Kota. He is very secure and very child friendly and perfect for the 3 to 5 year age group but he is almost 3 feet tall. Although much smaller than his dad (see picture!), it is still probably best to try him out on carpet for the first couple of turns.
