    This post is indeed helpful in order to promote consumer awareness so that more and more people will be properly informed and reduce the chances of getting victimized by identity theft. It would even be more helpful if we equip ourselves with the basics in software programs and security to minimize the possibility of ever getting victimized. Fraud is not only done on computers but with private documents as well and that is why
    shredding San Antonio companies, for instance, should pay close attention in giving their clients the guarantee that their records are properly shredded.

    I'm not from the US, but here in Europe, more and more crimes related to identity theft are being noticed.
    Thank you for this lens. I also found this website usefull: http://stopidfraud.net46.net/ . take a look and help spread the word. If everyone is informed, hardly will anyone be deceived.

    Once a victim myself of Identity theft, I had to learn how to Protect Against Identity Theft. That is what my newest lens is all about. Thanks for your effort. Gave you a five star in return.

    I've seen full page ads in the Wall Street Journal for LifeLock. First time I've ever seen anyone confident enough in their product to publicize their own social security number!
