Is learning something you thought ended in high school? college? Well, it probably shouldn't have. Life Long Learning is a lifestyle of learning something new everyday. It is an adventure!! What can you learn today that you didn't know yesterday? Maybe, just maybe, you don't know it all!

The more you learn, the more those connections form." (October 16, 2007) This article further indicated that the best way to improve memory is physical exercise. After that the "use it or lose it" theory takes over, suggesting that people with higher education, challeging jobs and rich social lives build more cognitive reserves in their brains than those who maintain a sedentary lifestyle.
So... get out there and begin to learn everyday - stimulate those brain cells! Have a feast on facts! Read a little in the bathroom, before you go to bed, during a commercial - it's just amazing where you can find time to read!

Learning something new everyday can be as simple as a book of facts...read one a day... or listening to a biography on audio...on your way to work or home...maybe it's a calendar with inspiring quotes...just a little something to keep those brain cells moving and making connections!

Just do it! Remember to have fun while you are learning...try memorizing something new each week, maybe a quote, a scripture, states & capitals, etc. Also, talk to people, engage in meaningful conversation, not just gossip. Ask someone's opinion about something -- you will surely learn something that way! Read a book of jokes, use a new recipe, try a new product... just keep learning because a mind is a terrible thing to waste!
