My experience with LifePath Unlimited
The best part about LifePath unlimited is its distributors. Period. There are a lot of fantastic people who believe in LPU, and that is part fo what makes organizations great.
But it is only one small part.
It takes leadership, passion, a commitment to a shared vision and followthrough on that commitment to make an organizations great. So while the distributors of LPU are wonderful--truly great people--they alone cannot sustain this company.
I was a distributor with LifePath for almost 18 months. I can say that my favorite part of my tour with LPU was the people. I also appreciate the passion and vision of Patrick Combs. He is the one co-founder that operates with integrity in all he does. He puts his heart and soul into everything he does, and asks the questions daily, "How can I best serve the people I was called to serve?"
This type of thinking makes organizations great, and one reason I am excited about the company he and Mike Budny have started called MIGHT Club.
So my run with LPU was overall very positive. I left to pursue my true passions and am a better person for having been involved with LifePath Unlimited

What happened next?
This is where it gets good...
My career as a US Navy pilot closed down in September of 2008. I loved flying airplanes; it was a childhood dream I was told would never come true. But perhaps my favorite part of my naval career was the amazing men and women I was blessed to serve with and for. While completing over 12 years of service to my country was a dream come true, I had my sights set on entrepreneurial pursuits.
A lot of people thought I was crazy for leaving the guaranteed paychecks, full benefits for myself and my family, and the upward growth potential of my career.
But there is more to life than money.
Sure, I could have stayed in and continued to do great things with fantastic people, but my true passion has always been my family. I wanted to be there for them in person, versus through long-distance phone calls and letters from overseas.
So in 2008, I left the Navy. This is where LifePath Unlimited took on a full-time focus for me. It was through that journey of personal development that I found my new calling. I realized that I had a natural inclination toward speaking, and began crafting my new career as a professional speaker.

Get a "Fresh Start" to your business

One of my favorite parts of being a Peak Performer was doing my weekly "Fresh Start" call. It was a blast sharing the call bridge with other high-altitude people. Sharing insight and inspiration was (and still is!) a true passion of mine.
After I left LPU, I had lots of people ask if I would continue my own version of the weekly call. And for a while, I thought that ship had sailed. But I realized that so many people got great value from my calls, and I got the benefit of living one of my passions by sharing my gift with awesome people.
And THAT is why I created The Weekly Momentum Shift.

Disappointed and looking for similar opportunity
May 22, 2011 @ 8:34 am | delete
- Hi guys.
I was very close to joining Lifepath before reading this blog and others around at the moment.
I feel disappointed because I really really really liked the look of Lifepath's products. It seemed like a great company which I could use passionately, and therefore talk to others about passionately.
And then I come across all this stuff about Joe Neid which I spoke to my possible upline about, and it all just smells way too fishy. What I'm reading isn't just bad reviews, but more like critical signs of a company failing.
I don't really care about the personal stuff about Joe Neid's life - everyone makes mistakes. However, when supposively luminaries from the Discovery product are making statements like that - this seriously damages the CORE of the company. The very thing which makes Lifepath live and breathe is being destroyed.
My head wants it all to be ok, however my heart is saying this ship is sinking and I shouldn't join LPU (which really really sucks because I really like the look of these products).
Does anyone know of other companies similar to LPU (in personal development) with a direct sales component that I could possibly check out??
Sad Aussie Bloke :)

trust?
May 10, 2011 @ 12:48 am | delete
- NEVER trust any one who told you to avoid negative information
Any sort of information have two sides to the same story. A "review" of an opportunity will be good or bad. As we have explained earlier that good reviews cannot be trusted, esp. if it is followed by a recruiting call. Negative reviews would tell you a lot more about the opportunity than a "good" review would ever say.
And if your recruiter tell you to ignore any negative information you found, you should be REALLY wary, because you cannot be sure what is his/her motivation for saying so. Some have been taught to ignore negative thoughts so they cannot "contaminate" their positive attitude, which is needed for success. That is just psychobabble, as no amount of positive thinking can protect you from reality. Yet others are willing to engage in deceit just so he/she can "cycle out" and get the pay out before the whole scam collapses.
Confront your recruiter with the negative reviews, and ask him or her about the points made, and how are they being addressed. And don't take bull**** for answers.

- This is off the LPU facebook page "Cheers and Congratulations to LifePath's Executive Corporate Team (left to right) Ron Dougherty, Joy Elizabeth, Dave Mackenzie, Joe Neid, Dustin Buysse" Honestly who would work with this bunch. Just for laughs click on the link and look at the photo. Do you see what is sitting on the counter. Perfect symbolism for the group! Honestly I am laughing so hard right now. Scroll down and look at the photo of the new team!

Confused
Apr 5, 2011 @ 11:52 pm | delete
- What does it mean that LifePath Unlimited's top sales guy Jeremy Miner left the company? What does he know that I don't? I recently signed up with MIM and now I think I might have made a mistake. There seems to be tons of bad press about LifePath's CEO Joe Neid. If only 10% of what I have read is true about the CEO I guess it makes sense why a guy like Jeremy has left.

- Dear Confused, No offense but perhaps you should revisit your own reasons of joining LPU. did you join only because Jeremy Minor was involved? Do you even know the reasons why he left. People make business moves all the time. His leaving does not automatically insinuate that he did so due to negative reasons. What it "means" is that obviously Jeremy felt like a change.
If you left your long time job to do something else, would it necessarily have to 'mean' something negative?
People do what they want to do. Perhaps you should take one foot and put it in front of the other and not worry so much what others do. You made the decision, now go and market it. It's called focus on what "Confused" is doing, not what Jeremy or the rest of the world is doing.
Make a decision, stick to it. It's gotten me far with LPU. For me, it's been a wonderful experience and it's going on three years. (or more).
What people 'say' about people is their own opinion. Humans can be peculiar and feel better creating issues with people they know nothing about. some people just love to bask in negativity. For some weird reason they feel skewing things against others makes them look better. Don't join them, it wouldn't look good on you! :-)
If Joe Neid was 'such a horrible person' then why has he created a business opportunity that has served thousands well?
Don't believe everything you hear Mr. Confused. Form your own decisions then stick with it and show us what your made of.

- Jeremy Miner left. He earned the majority of LPU income (as spoken by both founders). Furthermore,if a scumbag like Jeremy Miner just ask any of his team members) wont put up with LPU - think of how bad the ownership must be.

- LifePath Unlimited is a one trick pony: Jeremy Miner their top sales guy, the only guy in their company history to win their "100 sales Freedom ring". Meaning no one else in this 5 year company has ever sold 100 Discoveries. Good thing they have him or they'd be nothing. http://blog.lifepathunlimited.com/?s=jeremy

- LifePath Unlimited RECENT NEWS!
They've announced that their next Breakthrough Event will be in September 2011. Their last one was in October 2010. But their website says they do two BreakThroughs a year. What happened? http://www.lifepathunlimited.com/shoppingcart/breakthroughevent.aspx
Add to that that they used to do live Discovery Calls almost every Saturday, or "45 hours a year" as they promise on their website. But now, only one live call a month which adds up to only 12 hours. What happened?
And then their other product Destiny. Their website says it's held "annually" but in fact LifePath didn't put on a Destiny event in 2010. What happened?
They also seem to have stopped putting on their Synergy event which used to be twice a year in the U.S. and in Australia. But they haven't put one on now since last August and have no talk about putting one on. What happened to Synergy? http://www.lifepathunlimited.com/shoppingcart/synergyconference.aspx
They're not delivering what they say they do on their very own website. They're cutting back on everything. It's hard to call these changes an improvement for anyone trying to sell their products or holding a ticket and wanting to attend. Why would a company that's doing really well make all these cutbacks? Because the business is tanking, or because they want to so that they can pocket more money for themselves.
Ironically their website also says they'll never cut corners when it comes to changing lives. So what do they call eliminating an annual BreakThrough event, eliminating Synergy, eliminating 33 hours of their Discovery Product, and skipping their 2010 Destiny event?? http://www.lifepathunlimited.com/aboutus/default.aspx
You don't see legitimate companies acting like this one. LifePath screams scam.

Old Hockey "friend"
Mar 15, 2011 @ 6:58 pm | delete
- Ok, I am laughing my ass off here. I have known Joe Neid for a LONG time. Back in his Chicago days when we played ice hockey together. I decided to look the guy up and wow was I shocked to see what he was up too. He was a scam artist 20 years ago and it looks like he's up to his same old business.
The poor fools who follow Joe Neid as the leader of a personal development company are in for a real shock one day when they find out what a thief he is. It's so dam funny that he's running a personal development company called Life Path Unlimited. Who are the dummies that follow this thief?
He stole $5,000 from his "friends" on our hockey team. The thief took it right out of our team bank account.
If you think this guy has turned over a new leaf your in for a shock. Joe Neid is likely the same thief he was 20 years ago.
Best of luck you LIfe Path Unlimited people. You might want to take a hard look at your leader.

Do Your Homework

- I find it interesting that Jayne seems to wonder what the problem with LifePath Unlimited is, i specifics. As if no one has given actual reason's why LifePath is a bad business to get or stay involved in. Because seemingly, these reason's aren't enough:
* An F-rating with the Better Business Bureau
(need I go on, really?)
* Late on delivering their $15,000 product (if you can call almost a year "late")
* All their leaders and their very own designated "Peak Performers" leaving by the boatload.
(isn't that what people did when the Titanic was sinking also, try and get off)
* Their very own co-founder and Chief Transformational officer leaving.
(hello?! is this microphone on. Is anyone hearing this stuff)
* Their Luminary Deanna Latson publicly separating herself from their company here in this forum. (Excellent integrity by the way Ms. Latson).
* Pissed off people filing complaints with the District Attorney to try and get their money back.
* And a CEO who's internet reputation reads like a slimeball's rap-sheet.
But Jayne, you're still waiting for specifics before you walk away and save your money? Exactly what kind of specifics would help you Jayne? Even your own sponsor left.
I understand it's hard to accept that a company you believed in and invested in is showing all the signs of a bad bad thing.

- Wow - there seems to be a lot of emotions flying around below, but nothing of real substance.
In my experience its pretty normal for companies that have been around for several years to start getting this type of criticism. People have many personal reasons for such negativity and feedback... so as a LPU representative myself (amongst many other companies, including my own) I do not feel these will hurt the company. Those who take comments such as these as face value would probably find that entrepreneurship wouldnt be the best route for them anyway, as one of the biggest qualities is the ability to think outside the box and think for yourself. If you are not willing to do this, then I suggest that a job may be a better solution.
It seems to me that people have a problem with making money and indeed others including LPU making money. I know this from experience as I was one of these people several months ago.
I left LPU because I saw people were not making money, including myself. I then started to create all the excuses I could to cover up my own limiting beliefs... for example... lack of intergrity, LPU are greedy, the opportunity could be better, etc, etc. Then I walked away from it for several months.
However, through my own personal growth the last few months I realized that it was actually my own beliefs that held me back and how I made judgments about LPU, the founders and others, so that I could cover these beliefs up and not take responsibility for myself.
At the end of the day it is the responsibility of LPU to provide the opportunity, which they have, and the training, which they have. Everything else is down to the associate and their dedication, commitment and willingness to 'get out of their own way'.
LPU are a direct sales company, which means that to make money, they sell things. They are not a charity! I feel that a great deal of negativity about LPU and the founders is actually jealously and the fear of accepting that at the end of the day, of course they are in it to make money because they are a 'business'. They are a business that provide products for associates to sell to customers that focusing on helping them and empowering them. It is as much the responsibility of the associate to support their customers and empower their team, as it is the company itself. The company supplies the opportunity and the associates make the most of that opportunity... setting themselves up as an 'independent business', with their own responsibilities and also their own benefits.
Many of these criticisms seem to suggest that you are viewing LPU as an 'employer' rather than a company that is providing you with a business 'opportunity'. These are very different entities.
At the end of the day 95% of all businesses fail... so on average, only 5% of people that come into LPU are likely to succeed. That is because it is down to the individual to succeed, not the company. It takes on average 2 to 10 years to really understand and adapt to entreprenenurship and this whole industry is not about creating a quick buck through on efforts of your own.
If people have reports they have read, and lists of people they 'assume' have left LPU because of the company, and situations/experiences that they feel would bring down the company - then I suggest you actually share all of this, rather than just blasting stuff that actually has little substance.
At the end of the day it doesnt come down to integrity as many of you have suggested. If it did, then you wouldnt be enjoying the benefits of clean water, the internet, your mobile phone, Sky TV, etc - because im sure you would agree that the owners of these huge corporations do not always act with integrity? However, your lives are all a great deal richer because of the quality of goods they supply?
Therefore, I suggest watching your beliefs because they can 'seriously' hold you back in life!

- Oh dear Amanda, you know you've sold your self out when you say "At the end of the day it doesnt come down to integrity as many of you have suggested." Wow. Well, , maybe integrity doesn't matter to you Amanda as you seem to be making it very clear that you don't care about your founder's integrity, but you might want to read your companies website because they try and pretend really hard that they do: http://www.lifepathunlimited.com/aboutus/default.aspx. And so you weren't making any money but you came back.... And correct me if I'm wrong but weren't you one of LifePath Unlimited's Peak Performer award winners? And so you're telling us you won that award without making any money? And thank you for being so authentic as to tell us that you saw others in LifePath weren't making any money either. But now you're back because you decided you didn't care about integrity. Good luck with that. PS - 95% of all Starbucks and McDonald's do not fail. Your company positions itself as sort of a franchise.

- Love the way you pulled all of my comments out of context Bill - are you a lawyer, lol...! I suggest you re-read what I said - I didnt say integrity wasnt important to me. ;) I own my own business Bill (if that is your name as you seem to have several in this conversation) and integrity within my business is what is more important to me than anything. How I train, support, motivate and empower my team is what is absolutely essential and the success of my team is essential. Petty politics and personal disputes between ex girlfriends and friends of Joe Neid is not my problem and I do not see why any of this is my business or the business of LIfePath members??
My point on integrity was that you do not really care about it. Your comments are not based on integrity - they are based on bitterness, resentment, hatred and lack of power. When the word integrity is used, it should be used with respect and meaning - not something to just be used to prove a point!
I wasnt a peak performer winner Bill - not sure where you got that from?? Never have received an award and wasnt in LifePath long enough to receive one.
Of course I saw people not making money - just like every single business opportunity on the planet! Name one company where the majority makes money?
But I now see lots more people that are making money - especially since the change of some essential marketing tactics. But you may be a little out of touch with where LifePath is now, as you seem obsessed as to where it was years ago!
Yes - im making good money now thank you - especially since I have moved beyond my own limiting beliefs.
Yes - I am willing to admit when failure is down to me and no one else. I am able to look at where I have gone wrong and take total responsibility for myself. Which is why I came back and am blessed to be able to coach and mentor others to remain in their power... rather than blame others for their misfortunes.
The reason I am having my say here is because you are blasting information around on hear-say, such as me being a peak performer winner and the people you have mentioned who have left. They did not all leave because of leadership and I know this as several are good friends of mine now.
I do not remember giving you permission to use my name or mention me in any of the comments below, so why do you feel you are able to use it?
You are obviously a very bitter person who has something severely personal going on with Joe Neid and you sound as though you will do anything to bring down the company.
May I suggest that you begin to move into your power, take ownership of your own life, let things go a little and work on your inner self. You will feel a great deal more peaceful in your life.
Your mission to prove everyone wrong.. and you right... is not healthy for you, or your soul.
Remember - your external is just a reflection of your internal....
This is my final say on this matter, because I dislike involving myself with such negative energy - especially with people such as yourself who will argue for the rest of your life if you had the opportunity.
Make it a great day! :)

- I'm just starting to get back to my LPU Focus. I have been with Lifepath for over 2-3 years (guessing)... As far as I am concerned and based on personal experience there are absolutely NO scams attached to this company.
When I focus on promoting it, I can do as well as anyone else. If I didn't make a dime, I would have nobody to answer to but myself.
The Discovery series is an excellent product and can be of tremendous value to anybody who puts it to use, regardless as to whether they choose to market it or not.
I have chosen to remain on this level because I personally didn't 'want' to invest further at this stage of the game, although I considered it.. and might when I feel my time is right.
I am truly curious however that if there is SO much wrong, and so many people have suffered wrong doing, then what exactly is the challenge?
If I could be given specifics, then perhaps I would have more to go on.
Sure, there are a few things I feel could be improved and yes, and I too had a challenge a couple of years back with compliance and was not in total agreement with the way things were handled...(someone above mentioned this). I was very disappointed too at the time, but have moved on to realize there is more positives that came out of it.
As far as the Destiny issue... I was not aware of that and question why a person would purchase Two Destiny Tickets, particularly considering the price covers the costs of two people. (just saying).
I can also concur with perhaps feeling a little uneasy "not knowing" - but perhaps this might be a time to pick up the phone and talk to Joy or one of the boys.
Patrick leaving is a shame for sure. Nothing else to add to that.
I am aware of many leaders leaving, but it doesn't mean to say that they all had the same issues. My sponsor left too and had her reasons, and though I agree with her personal decision, it was still hers to make.
The questions that burns in my mind however, pertaining to this forum is: What is the purpose of it?
JT, I realize you obviously had issues, but what exactly were they? There was a time you were very supportive.
If there were personal issues, then should they become a concern for everyone else?
If they were really horrendous, then perhaps they should be shared.
Same with Deanna, whom I adore, but were the issues important enough to discourage others from possibly experiencing the products and also hindering the efforts of those who still market the products.
This is my curiosity speaking out loud.
There are thousands of people enjoying this company. Is the intent of this forum to prevent their business from growing?
I have met Joe, and frankly he seems ok. Yes he is flamboyant and a very energetic businessman. What is wrong with that?
Of course his best interest is to sing the praises of Lifepath. It is his business, along with Dave of course, but it is his job to keep the company growing so those who choose to join have a reasonably priced investment, with a great product, as well as a built in business option if they choose to exercise it.
Just because some of you left, and perhaps have issues, do you really think it's fair to the rest of us to build a negative barrier and throw a roadblock in the way in order to discourage others from the experience.
I congratulate you JT for publishing your book, but not all of us will want to follow in the same footsteps.
If you are concerned for the safety of us (so to speak) then perhaps some solid facts might be shared to keep us on the air of caution.
Personally, I feel that as long as a people do not invest more than they can afford into this or any other business venture, where Lifepath is concerned, it is very solid and provides valuable products.
I truly hope this forum is not based on 'personal' vendettas; they should be kept 'personal' if it is.
Forums that cannot provide solid details of wrong doing or 'danger' to others only breed negativity. It's unfortunate that human nature works this way.
Bottom line is, in three years (more or less) I have neither seen nor heard of anybody being 'scammed' and feel it is a very safe and solid venture with the possibility of not only improving personally, but also financially.
with that said, once again, If there is something I should be aware of, that I am not I would be most appreciative to hear the facts.
I certainly hope that anybody reading this post has the intelligence to perform their own investigations and not take the few words of negativity from a handful without asking advice from those of us who are still involved.
I for one would NOT have reasons to offer any words of 'caution' only my own personal experiences that have been for the most part very satisfying. I certainly would never recommend anything to anybody if I did not have an unquestionable clear conscience.
If in the future I discover need for concern and feel the need to "protect" or "prevent" people from joining, I will be sure to spell it all out.
I can assure you I would refrain from doing so in such a public fashion if it were only a personal opinion, as I respect the rest of the people who are working hard to grow their business and certainly would not want to spoil it for them.
If there are any real issues or legitimate reasons for concern, or reasons I should refrain from promoting please email me directly at jaynekopp1@gmail.com. Your information would be both respected and appreciated.
In the meantime, I feel very secure and satisfied and will unless I can be presented with specifics.
I wish you all the best.

- I thought about joining this company until I read this thread. Thank you JT. Any company that has an F rating with the better business and all these other negatives (and a whole lot more I've foun on the internet) it isn't getting my $.

- JT, When I first stated Lifepath I was over the moon. I did 'ok' but as time has gone by there has definitely been a shift in passion.
I feel this is disappointing because it makes a person question that if the real intent of LPU is to better the lives of others, then why is the foundation shaking so much?
The premise of the company is solid, but one has to wonder if the leaders have lost sight of that.
The idea was to help people achieve their dreams and goals, and meet new heights.
Now the calls are sales pitches and it seems that the only focus LPU has is to sell MIM and any other product that will line their own pockets with an affiliate commission.
I have not problem with people taking part in MIM marketing, but what happened to encouragement to learn skills to set individuals up for life?
It seems to me that their motives have turned selfish.
This negative shift has spoiled the good intentions of the company.
I do not believe any one of us could argue that Discovers is an excellent product. IT still contains awesome lessons and information to help people change the way they live.
I just now feel that the company itself has turned arrogant. They don't seem to look at people the way they used to.
They rather feel to have lost the love they once had.
Why is this? It's sad.
the last few calls have made me realize that perhaps my time has also come to leave, but its such a sad thought to embrace.
I enjoyed it so much for a while, but now feel nothing but disappointment.
Another thing I noticed is that the Discovery Reps are often pushed to upgrade to Breakthrough or Destiny, which is fine if they can afford it. (or would have been fine should I say).
but by always beating the upper levels to these beginners and hammering the fact that the 'real' money is made on those levels makes a person wonder how much faith they actually DO have in the Discovery.
As far as some of the comments above mentioned that some people fail, and therefore LPU is a rip-off... I can't say I buy into that.
People will only succeed with anything IF they truly want to. Most people fail because they do give up. That cannot be blamed on the company.
I do feel however that with the general feelings of late that more people might be dropping off because of disappointment.
Does Joe Neid not see this? Maybe he doesn't care and LPU will go the same way Liberty League did.
I think I can pinpoint the turning point of LPU. That was when they brought in the heavy handed compliance issues where they punished reps for using the company name.
this to me was a huge hit because in my humble opinion, this should have been enforced right from the get go.
So many people had invested a lot of time promoting the company.
Then all of a sudden the game changed.
I'm not saying that a person should 'marry' themselves to one organization, and perhaps the 'personal branding' aspect is totally valid.
It was the 'way' they went about it and were so arrogant. Their compliance would not respond to emails, and if/when they finally did they were cold hearted and callous.
this leaves me wondering where to go from here.
Its sad though because I have introduced many people to LPU and truly loved being a part of it.
The change isn't in my mind though, obviously.
hmmm.... any suggestions?
JT, BTW I think you should continue to participate in this forum. Its not a bad thing.
Its not about slamming, its about being truthful.
i am sure you can relate to my feelings because I know there was a time you and Mia loved the company too.
Its devastating to be so high, then so disappointed.
Thanks for letting me get it off my chest.

- I just wanted to put my 2 cents in and hope people understand that companies and businesses come and go.You can work for a boss for 40 years and then they fire you as you are too old or staff cut backs. You have a choice when looking for any business on the internet and that is to make your own decision.Read the facts before investing your money and do not believe everything you read. Call a person in that company, call a few and make your own decisions. As a peak performer and leader with Lifepath I know I have made a difference to many peoples lives for the better. Some people have made money with the company and some havent.People usually dont make money because they give up, plain and simple.Lifepath is a "high ticket" company that seeks high income earners and the 3 products I have experienced have been worth every cent I invested in them. The conferences were life changing thanks to all involved and it takes a team of people to make it happen not just one person.Lifepath is about personal development and the founding lumanaries have created an awesome product thats worth its money.During my years in the finance industry I met hundreds of people who invested tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in investments, shares, super and property and lost the lot.I never hear about them or see those people on forums such as these? So is it acceptable for a financial advisor to give advice only for people to lose a lot more money than if someone purchased a conference ticket and a business for under $10,000? Anyone looking at Lifepath feel free to contact me for an insiders view to the company whether you are looking to join with another representative or not as I will always tell the truth.Best of luck to you JT, Deanna and everyone who reads these posts, like i said I just wanted my two cents worth.lol

- Hello JT!
I am glad you opened a forum for people to speak honestly about their experience. I am luminary on Lifepath Unlimited's product and many associates reach out to me. I feel the need to be very clear- I do NOT support Lifepath Unlimited any longer & I will never be at one of their events. They are not the type of company that I wish to associate with. I am sorry if this offends some LPU folks but my experience was not a positive one with the leaders of the company. I know there is confusion for new associates because I am on the product. If you seek specifics I will gladly provide them. I know I am not the only luminary who feels this way.
Wishing you all the best,

Your RipOff Awaits.
Feb 22, 2011 @ 12:08 am | delete
- LifePath Unlimited is a rip-off and a scam and I've already filed my legal complaint with the Arizona District Attorney. If you have a complaint against LifePath Unlimited, call there office and tell them you have a complaint against LifePath Unlimited, an Arizona company and they'll email you the simple form to file a complaint. I bought two tickets to their $15,000 Destiny event, but they haven't put it on. They keep saying their going to put it on, but they keep lying and not announcing the date. On a Founders Call last month the big fat lying Joe Neid (or is it Joe Greed) said "Destiny is going to be in April and we'll be announcing the date, hopefully by tomorrow." It's been over a month and still there is no date set! I believe to sell tickets to something they're supposed to put on, but then don't is called fraud. I hope they go to jail. And I intend to have the Arizona Attorney General help me (and a class action lawsuit by others who feel the same) put them there. Destiny is supposed to be an annual event. They haven't put it on in over a year and a half and they just keep saying they're going to put it on. How many others are sick of the lies and delays? Shame on the people who are selling this to others even though they know their company isn't putting on the events it says it does. And I agree with you JT, Patrick WAS the heart and soul of the company. Too bad he left but I understand why. I'm tired of the lies. I wanted to believe in it as a good business but I can't be in integrity and tell someone else it's a good company or a real business.

- Yes the destiny event is late, but some things are worth waiting for. having been to destiny 1 i can assure you that its worth every cent. How quick you are to file a complaint.Have you not listened to CD number 2 the path of power? Are you a victim or a victor? How could you buy two tickets to the event? You only have to buy one as its for two people, and if you bought a second one for a friend that means you invested $30,000 and if so you are quiting already? You say shame on people who sell to others, are you saying that all LPU members are thieves? I think not as I certainly am not.People often move companies for various reasons just like they change jobs, maybe if you focused all you energy elsewhere you would have had better results and hence wouldnt be posting such negative comments? All companies have their delays, problems and staff changes and LPU is no different.:)

Late is a lame excuse
Feb 26, 2011 @ 12:57 pm | delete
- Newy010,
IT'S LATE??? They DIDN'T have a destiny conference last year!! It's a once a year conference. I'd say that's much more than late. If you bought tickets to the super bowl and it never happened last year would you ask for refund? Or would it be ok that it was just "late". As far as I can tell LifePath Unlimited has been and is still selling tickets to a event that they have not had. There is no way to get around the clear fact - Destiny is a once a year event and they did not put it on in 2010. Why I ask? The only reasonable reason is that the company is hurting for money. Why else would they not host that conference.

Final Stages?
Feb 26, 2011 @ 11:48 pm | delete
- Just look at the Lifepath Unlimited Facebook page:
Joy Elizabeth wrote on December 29, 2010 at 2:26pm : Big news! Big Announcements! Destiny is in final stages of contract negotiation. Date to be announced soon. It's looking like a great April!
It was in the final stages 2 months ago? That's the longest final stage I have ever heard of.

- Hi,
I just wanted to add that Lifepath Unlimited was and STILL is a great company, the Discovery Series is still a great product and features Patrick Combs, The difference is that LPU will have to find someone else to host the Breakthrough and Destiny Conferences.
Jeremy Miner continues to make $80,000+ with LPU and I have continued to increase my income with LPU.
Although there may be some negatives LPU still stands as a solid company and business so for anyone looking to join LPU I would suggest that you REALLY do your research about this company and not just go off what you have read on this page.
Thanks,
Billee Brady

Do your homework

- JT,
You might have opened up a can of worms here. People need to know that LifePath Unlimited's CEO Joe Neid is a bad dude and he is the one running LifePath. A quick search on the internet will quickly reveal who Joe Neid is. There is no way everyone who has something negative to say about Neid is lying. I would encourage everyone to do their due diligence and look up the leader.

Anonymous former LifePath Unlimited Leader
Jan 16, 2011 @ 10:09 pm | delete
- Being a former Leader at LifePath Unlimited I feel I can give an honest and informed opinion of LifePath Unlimited. My honest opinion is that a lot of good leaders have come to LifePath Unlimited and left because something is wrong with the company, the business model and its CEO Joe Neid. Here's a list of some of the people (including you JT) who have come to LifePath Unlimited, earned the title of a LifePath leader but left anyway. All of the following LifePath Unlimited leaders left (including me. I left because no one I sold to could duplicate and ended up losing money and Joe Neid gets old really fast).
Tina Fields
Michael Hamburger
Lehman Hailey
Jenn Lawlor
Jason Bryn
Terry Dorland
Alan Nettles
Debra Maute
Theo van der Merwe
Brandon Boshnack
Lisa Laternou
Kimberly Mason
Mary Gannon
Mark Lollback
Christy Snape
Sandy Hagopian
Judy Garey
Judith Shuttleworth
JT Debolt
Carol Douthitt
Beau Reed
Judith Shuttleworth
Nathan Packonowski
Emily Amanda Reed
Dean Perrone
Wendy Stevens
PS - I agree with you JT about Patrick Combs. And add him to the list of people who left.
I'm happy to be out of LifePath Unlimited and I can't recommend it to anyone seeking
a legitimate business.

- Almost everyone on this list won LifePath's Peak Performer award, the most highly coveted award you can win in the company. The ones who win their highest award don't even stick around. Thinking about joining this company? Ask yourself why do even the Peak Performers leave?

- Never believe anyone who puts anonymous in a post. Most of the people on this list learnt a lot from LPU and moved on to better things or found their true passion. Some people here opportunity jump just like people change jobs. Some people moved on because they simply gave up,one person above hasnt left but had a baby and many people their circumstances changed or they preffered to work a full time job.Just because people move on doesnt mean the company is bad. Also can someone please send me the actual report from the BBB about LPU's so called "F" rating. Facts not fiction please:)

- JT, I didn't meet you while I was at LPU so don't take this wrong but LifePath Unlimited is one big rip-off and scam and I lost more than $30,000 believing in the bullshit. No wonder they have an F-rating with the Arizona Better Business Bureau. And no wonder it's always the same 5 people on the Friday call. Because no one else makes any money. My opinion, stay as far away from this company as you can. Run.

Good Point
Jan 16, 2011 @ 10:34 am | delete
- Jt, You are right on about Patrick leaving LPU and I am sure there is much more to the story. I'd love to hear the real truth. Back in March 2009 in Acapulco at a Liberty League conference people asked, ?Where's Brent?? (How odd for a co-founder of the company to not be at the conference when he is the guy on the DVD's). The ?corporate? response was he's pursuing his passion of music. (People behind the scenes learned of the troubles that had been brewing between Brent and Shane).
Fast forward. Lifepath has a conference November 2010 in Puerto Rico. ?Where's Patrick?? Similar ?corporate? response.
When the guy on the package (in Liberty League, Brent, in Lifepath, Patrick) of the product being sold suddenly goes away, you cannot sell that product to new people without having to explain what happened to that person).
It is the beginning of the end, especially with all of the rumblings about Joe Neid. Where there is smoke there is fire.
