The Jarrod's fable start in the pond's land where he lives, with his mother and sister, in a thatched hut at the forest's boundaries.
He's a cheerful boy that pass his days climbing up the trees, jumping branch to branch.
One day, he feel the curiosity to discover what under a little pond is, he asks his mother, that worried, tells him not to go there because that pond had take away his father.
But Jarrod needs to know the truth about it and so he risks him on the shores of the pond.
"Do another footstep or two and listen what I promise you" Tell a voice that come out of the waters and it say to go with it, whom he would have had what desired and call his sister then he have had company.
Jarrod felt him attracted more always, but suddenly he discover that who calls him, really, was an alligator that wants to grab him with his jaws and in a second Jarrod hammered a stick in his mouth and the alligator went away of the pond, forever.
Then all could play quietly in the pond's waters, at long last.
A fable for all that has a big moral: which we need is inside of us, we only have to look for it.
