How to lose weight and enjoy a healthier life by eliminating toxins, eating better and using the power of the information provided here
In this lens we will discuss why it isn't your fault if you are overweight and / or unhealthy. At least until you have the correct tools and information about what is really happening in your body.
This lens is in memory of my mom who died in 1996 at the age of 59 of diabetes. It would never have happened had she gotten the correct information about the toxins in our foods and beverages. How they "plug" our filters (liver, kidney, colon, etc) and throw our bodies out of balance.

How to lose weight and get our bodies back in balance
The key to lose weight and/ or get our bodies healthy is to take in less toxins than our body can eliminate. This may sound simplistic but our body is a self- healing organism. It will naturally return to an alkaline state.
It's not about less or more proteins, carbohydrates, fats, calories, food combining, etc. It's about only eating and drinking "foods and beverages" that our bodies recognize as such. I'll keep it simple here and expand on the details as we build this lens together.
If you are reading a food label and there is a bunch of words you don't understand or can't even pronounce it isn't food. Your body doesn't recognize it and has to treat it as toxic. If it can't eliminate it your body will coat it with fat and store it. Usually around the stomach, hips and thigh areas for women. Stomach area mostly for men. Choking our internal organs. I'll be adding steps to take to slowly bring your body back into balance. Why slowly you ask? Because of several reasons:
1 - we don't want this to feel like a typical "diet"
2 - we want to add healthy habits that fit into our schedules that we maintain for life
3 - we don't want to feel overwhelmed with too many changes or find the one thing that we feel we can't do so we don't even bother starting

Water is crucial to weight loss and maintaining a healthy body. It not only helps to hydrate us but also "flushes" our systems.
Water contains oxygen and other crucial minerals. It is important to filter your water to eliminate the chlorine and fluoride. These are both toxins to our bodies.
It is important to also filter your shower water. Studies show you absorb more toxins through your skin in a 10 minute shower than you do drinking 8 glasses of water.
I use the Sprite Royale All In One Chlorine Removing Filtered Adjustable Spray Chrome Trim Shower Head and love it. My hair is softer and my skin doesn't get dried out any more.

Why you have cravings and how to control them
Cravings are a way for our body to get the nutrients it is missing by telling us what it wants us to eat. We train our body what to crave to provide the nutrients it needs from our food history. When our body is having problems absorbing the nutrients in our foods it leads to cravings and always feeling hungry.
The first step to absorbing more nutrients from our food is to thoroughly chew our food. This helps break down the food so it is easier to digest. This removes a lot of the stress put on our digestive system.
Our food supply has less nutritional value than it did years ago. Therefore, we have to eat more to receive the same nutrition or supplement our diet. By chewing our foods thoroughly we not only digest it easier we also receive the full pleasure of eating. Really getting to taste our food. This also helps tremendously with weight loss. It takes our stomachs 20 minute to signal our brain that it has enough. By eating slower it makes it easier for us to listen for that signal without overeating.

MSG gives our tongues the perception that the food we are eating contains more protein than it really does. So cost is a factor. The illusion that the food is healthier than it really is created by adding MSG enables the food processor to add LESS real food.
The body changes excess glutamate to GABA. GABA may be addictive. It is calming and affects the same receptors in the brain as valium. Do you wonder why you are "craving" certain foods?
