Lightning McQueen Disney Pixar Diecast Cars
Ranked #8,346 in Hobbies, Games & Toys, #109,177 overall
Seeing as how Lightning McQueen is the starring character of Pixar's Cars, I guess it shouldn't be surprising that there are a TON of diecast versions of him. There's one where he's covered with dirt, another with cactus, another where he's sticking his tongue out, and even one where he's wearing that restraining boot.
Oh yeah, let's not forget Lightning Storm, Dinoco Lightning, cruisin' Lightning... geez, Lightning might have Ramone beat in the paint job department!

Lightning McQueen - Disney Pixar Diecast Cars
The classic Lightning McQueen, before he gets tar, dirt, bugs, and cactus smeared all over him.One of the easiest Pixar cars to find. Kind of like the vanilla of ice cream flavors.
Not my favorite McQueen of all time, but I had to have him.
Lightning McQueen Strikes a Pose. Ka Chow.
Cactus Lightning McQueen - Disney Pixar Diecast Cars
Lightning after spinning out and crashing into a cactus patch. He thought for sure he could beat old Doc Hudson in a one lap race, but he didn't count on the dirt track working against him.And it STILL works against him no matter how many times he practices turning on dirt. That is, until he finally listens to Doc and learns the trick...

"I turned right, and this crazy thing happened: I went right!"
Cruisin' McQueen - Disney Pixar Diecast Cars
This is probably my favorite diecast McQueen. I like the slightly iridescent red paint job, and the fact that it isn't all cluttered by stickers and symbols. This is what Lightning looks like right after Ramone gives him a new paint job. Too bad it didn't last very long.

Lightning McQueen's New Paint Job
Tongue McQueen - Disney Pixar Diecast Cars
Lightning McQueen is lucky he has a long tongue. If he hadn't stuck it out over the finish line, he would have lost and left The King and Chick Hicks to race one more time for the Piston Cup.He also seems to like sticking his tongue out when he's jumping and showing off on the track.
Radiator Springs Lightning McQueen - Disney Pixar Diecast Cars
Similar to "Cruisin' McQueen," except more stickers and no whitewalls. He's also not trying so hard to look "suave."Lightning sports this paint job when he returns to Radiator Springs after the big race. It's like he finds a balance between the race track and the town he grows to love.

White Walls Lightning McQueen - 2009 Disney Pixar Diecast Cars
Before Lightning heads off to his big race, he decides to do something for everyone in Radiator Springs. One of the first things he does is buy some tires from Luigi's.At first McQueen request standard tires, but Luigi dissuades him: "Blackwalls, they BLEND with the pavement. But these whitewall tires, they say, 'Look at me! Here I am! Love me.'"
Spin Out Lightning McQueen - 2009 Disney Pixar Diecast Cars
Lightning is having a bad day. First he discovers Mac dumped him in the middle of a busy highway at night. Then he gets lost on Route 66. Then he gets chased by a cop. Then he gets shot at (he thinks). Then he gets tangled up in barbed wire. Then he goes flying and finds himself suspended from a power line.Of course things just keep getting better from there...
Tumble Weed Lightning McQueen - Disney Pixar Diecast Cars
It frustrates Lightning to no end that he can't figure out how to turn on dirt without sliding out of control. He keeps getting tossed into the tumbleweeds.Doc Hudson tries to give him some helpful advice, but Lightning finds it a bit counterintuitive, to say the least. "Ooh, right. That makes perfect sense. Turn right to go left. Yes! Thank you! Or should I say, 'No thank you.' Because in opposite world, maybe that really means, 'Thank you'! Crazy grandpa car. What an idiot!"
