Unframed Lightning McQueen Posters
Our favorite car

It's time to talk posters of our favorite race car! Posters are a great way to decorate a child's room whether you're going for a full theme or just want to spotlight some of their favorite characters. Lightning McQueen is favorite with children and this simple poster puts the spotlight on McQueen himself.

On the complete opposite of the spectrum is this bright, attractive of Lightning McQueen on the track and ready to roll. Of all the action scenes in the movie, the race scenes are really well done. The artists studied actual NASCAR race cars and tracks in order to recreate that feeling in the movie.

Lightning McQueen finds himself in dry, dusty Radiator Springs after becoming separated from his car hauler (remember him waking up in the middle of traffic?). He's confident. Sometimes too confident. It's here he meets his match and learns a few things about life along the way.

This is the official movie poster from the 2006 release of the Disney Pixar Cars movie. Cover him up - we still know who's under that car cover. That big, wide smile says it all, doesn't it? With the sequel coming up, I'm hoping for another movie poster to add to the collection. I'm betting they'll make a nice pair on one of my family room walls.
I think we're still waiting for confirmation that Owen Wilson will be signing up to do the voice of Lightning Mcqueen again. I hope he does. First, I enjoy him as an actor. Second, he made this little race car come alive. Third, the movie just wouldn't be the same without him...I don't care how close a voice they find.
Framed Lightning McQueen Posters
Finished and wall ready

Now, framed art is more expensive but it adds a much more formal, polished look than a plain poster. More appropriate for an older child's room or for an adult's office. I have plenty of friends who are huge Disney fans and they'd be more likely to hang one of these on their wall than an autographed picture of Derek Jeter.

Cars Character Posters
Not just Lightning McQueen
One aspect of the movie that I think makes it special is that there are so many other fascinating characters. Like Disney's Toy Story, the cast of special friends makes the movie more enjoyable. Tow Mater, Sally, and Doc Hudson play important roles in helping Lightning McQueen learn from his mistakes.

What if you can't pick just one favorite character? It's a tough decision, especially for little kids. A great movie poster choice could be one with all of the characters from the movie. This one spotlights Lightning McQueen, certainly, but shows him surrounded by all of his new, best friends.
Tow Mater
Best Friend
Doc Hudson
Mentor

Doc Hudson has retired to Radiator Springs and likes his life just the way it is - nice and orderly. He knows a little about racing but he doesn't let on until he's determined to show Lightning McQueen a thing or two about being just a bit too arrogant.

With the passing of Paul Newman it's unsure whether a new voice will be brought to this quiet, but strong character in the Disney Cars movie. Perhaps they will not include the character at all - which would be sad but to me he even looks like Paul Newman and it would be hard, for me anyway, to accept him with any other voice. Only time will tell.
Sally
Girlfriend?

Sally is the prosecuting attorney who takes Lightning Mcqueen to task for messing up the road running through Radiator Springs. She's opinionated, very bright, and a cute, little blue Porsche Carrera 911. It's obvious why McQueen takes a shine to her right from the start.

My guess is that the next movie won't spend too much time in Radiator Springs. Lightning McQueen is a race car and we want to see him win the Piston Cup this time around - or at least have a shot - which will mean getting him back to a track somewhere. Or - they could bring a track to Radiator Springs! Now, that might be interesting...
Fillmore
Stuck in the '60s and that's fine with him

Fillmore is easily the most down-to-earth character in the movie and always relaxed. My parents had a VW bus in the 1970s. It wasn't nearly as cool as Fillmore, the groovy, colorful bus who makes his own organic fuel and loves to help his friends and neighbors. First, our VW bus couldn't talk. Second, it never wore anything tie-dyed.
Ramone
One, cool car

Ramone is funny, creative, and artistic. He owns the House of Body Art shop in Radiator Springs and hopes to get a chance to give Lightning a new paint job.
Ramone looks as if he wouldn't mind a chance at racing himself. Not sure he'd want to risk injury to his slick metal and bright paint job but I bet he gets to play a role in the next movie.
Luigi and Guido
Business partners

Is it just me or do these two remind you of C3PO and R2D2 from Star Wars? Luigi talks, but with a heavy accent, and I don't remember Guido saying anything at all but he understands everything being said around him. Together, they manage the tire shop in Radiator Springs and, while Luigi seems a nervous sort, they're quick to come to Luigi.

Lightning McQueen takes good care of his new friends - especially this pair - when he sends a group of his Ferrari friends over to Luigi and Guido for sets of new tires all around. I'm also pretty sure these two will be in the next movie somewhere. They'd be perfect at running Lightning's pit crew!
