So why choose the Epiphone Les Paul Ultra-II Electric Guitar?
Whether An Upgrade Or Your First Les Paul This Lightweight Les Paul Is A Great Choice
* It's lightweight at only 10 pounds
* Features internal acoustic chambers in its hollow body
* Extra comfortable ergonomic design
* Contoured back without sharp edges
* Satin smooth finished neck for ease of sliding hand back and forth
* Well placed controls make it easy to locate buttons
* Volume/tone knobs placed where easily accessible but not in the way of playing
* Same brilliant sound that Les Paul guitars are well known for
The Lightweight Les Paul Still Has The Remarkable Les Paul Sound
The Epiphone Les Paul Ultra-II Electric Guitar Sacrifices Nothing!
There's really denying that Les Paul guitars produce sound. You can play classic rock songs and enjoy a driven rock sound, or if your taste is more along the lines of "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd, you will find this lightweight Les Paul is up to the challenge. Whether you enjoy jamming with your fellow musicians, or playing solo you will find the Ultra-II is ideal. Whatever your style of rock music, this lightweight Les Paul will not let you down, as it features gold alnico humbuckers and tuning pegs for contrasting rhythm and treble.
The Epiphone Les Paul Ultra-II Electric Guitar DOES Take Some Getting Used To
But It Won't Take Long
* Although this is a lightweight Les Paul, the headstock still remains heavy, so the guitar may feel a little awkward at first, so will take a little getting used to, but most musicians report that it didn't take long and was fairly easy.
* There have been a few complaints that the gold finish on the guitar will tarnish over time. The output jacks are surrounded by thin plastic which has been reported as easily broken, and the jacks themselves are less than ideal. Fortunately the company will replace parts if needed but a guitar repair shop may be able to install a better product that may improve the guitar.
CONCLUSION:
The Epiphone Les Paul Ultra-II Guitar is the ideal purchase for any musician who loves to play classic rock tunes and so much more. As everyone knows Les Paul guitars have a hard rock sound second to none, that make them a popular choice for jamming and playing solo. If you have been looking for a great lightweight guitar, this Les Paul will suit you perfectly. Looking to impress your fellow band members? This electric guitar will surprise them by the wide range of songs it is capable of playing well. It is lightweight, attractive and comfortable. Choice of two attractive finishes: Faded Cherry Sunburst and Midnight Ebony.

- 10lbs is by no means a light guitar. Coming in at about 10lbs puts in just a pound shy of a BC Rich warlock, a beast of a guitar. I'm a fan of Les Pauls, but if you're looking for good sustain and a lighter weight then Ibanez S-series is a good option, coming in at roughly 7lbs.

- While I appreciate your comment, I think you missed the point here. This is a lightweight LES PAUL guitar, not necessarily lightweight compared to other makes.
