Lil Wayne's Rock Album Single

The Single Tells The Story.

Rapper Lil' Wayne is said to be working on a rock album with much skepticism from his label(Universal). His Rebirth Album was set to be released on April 7,2009 and now has an undetermined release date. Whats weird is how the album itself may end up like the single for the album states in the chorus. In his chorus he melodically sang,"She had it all figured out, but she left me with a broken heart-messed around and turned me down, cause she didn't think I could play the part-But now the prom queen, the prom queen is crying sittin' outside of my door- She never know how, how everything could turn around". Even with the rock guitars, Lil' Wayne manages to tell a picturesque tale about how life can take a so- called nobody or nothing(which is how Universal sees his album as not a good seller) and make them somebody or something , to the amazement of the "popular crowd"(which is again Universal). Suffice it to say,its not Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, but it is pretty good for a rapper stepping outside of his genre. After being released, the single "Prom Queen" reached #15 on Billboard Top 100, and 16 on Billboard under R&B/Hiphop despite its rock genre.Well Universal you may have to prepare to be the prom queen, because "You never know how,how everything can turn around".
