A service manual for the Lincoln MKX can be tough to come by for some reason. I have found that for some cars a manual will be easily available, but for others it seems like there are big holes in the coverage. Unfortunately the MKX falls right into the latter category and finding repair info has been somewhat difficult. I know there are a couple of aftermarket manuals but for twenty bucks they are really not worth it.
So what I am doing is using "the power of the internet" to find whatever resources I can get for free or at least really cheap. When I find something good I will put it here so stay tuned unless you want to miss out. And, without any further ado, here is my attempt to replace the need for a Lincoln MKX repair manual with various sources of digital info.

A very good repair tool
Covers the MKX and is super useful
My most recent find saved me a lot of time in writing on here. I highly recommend you check out the RepairSurge repair manual software instant download. It covers so many areas that if these were separate resources, I would be making at least ten posts now instead of one. It also saved me some time for the original reason I bought it which was to get the Diagnostic Trouble Codes for the MKX. I picked this up for eight bucks... I believe the special goes until the end of the month so if your going to get it now is the time.
Getting what I paid for from the government
I found the best electrical training course, and it's by the Navy
For once I am getting something back! I am installing a system and I wanted to make sure I don't electrocute myself (I have never done electrical work before). So I am looking around for something of a high enough quality to be used with auto repair or this type of aftermarket install job. And whamo, what do I find? The cheapest parts are on Ebay and Amazon so that is where I like to look. On this platform it lets me show you things from Amazon, so here are some parts targeted towards the Lincoln and hopefully the MKX itself.

The massive video site isn't helpful here
Surprisingly, a search on Youtube for any kind of repair footage pertaining to this Lincoln model yeilded nothing. The best video available is nothing that will help you replace your repair manual... it is a walkaround. Yes, a walkaround. Wtf, youtube? I love you but come on.
