This is it! Part two of my online Squidoo diary... intended to help me remember all my fantastic Squidoo milestones.
I love to keep track of my progress with diary entries. I'm hoping for an exciting year with lots of Squidoo growth, so I'm planning to make good use of this diary lens.
In case you missed it - part one of this diary is here:
LindaJM's Squidoo Journey - part one - 2006 through 2008.

January 2009
I know the economy is wretched, but there's so much to feel hopeful about. Yes, I lost my job last September, but that freed me to devote more time to building income resources online. Bob, my significant other, and I, are diversifying income and relying more on our creativity and less on employment. Working for others has been a real disappointment for me. No matter how good an employee I was, or how loyal and devoted and dedicated to my employer, it didn't bother him a bit to cut me off. So be it... I'm much better off writing lenses for Squidoo. Enough said about that!
On the creative aspect of Squidoo, I've got lots of good ideas, and a few vital goals. My intentions for this year:
1. Take lots of pictures.
2. Keep lenses updated frequently.
3. Provide mentoring services to new Squidoo lensmasters.
4. Keep my blogs updated with at least one post per week... more if possible.
5. Keep a positive, happy attitude.
6. Walk a lot.

February 2009
February 22, 2009 - I'm beginning to pick up speed again, and hope to have a lot more done before the end of this month. I've found a new tool to help focus in on what needs to go into a lens. It is called a chart of nines. Simply, it is a piece of planning paper folded into nine sections. In the center you write the main focus or title of the lens, and in each of the surrounding eight boxes you write an aspect of the topic. Using this to brainstorm I've managed to break through barriers and make progress on my Squidoo projects.

April 2009
During my work reviewing sites for Angel blessings, I've been so inspired by the creativity of lensmasters here, I've started a few new lenses of my own.
I'm also working toward being a top 100 Giant Squid... I've created 77 lenses so far so I have a lot of work to do between now and the end of June. I'm planning of series of lenses to feature the herbs I'm growing in my garden, and some that I harvest in the wild nearby.
I just updated and revised my lensography... If you have time, please take a look: LindaJM's Portfolio of Lenses.

June 2009
I started a ning group for Senior Squids. This is something I wanted to do for a long time. . . to develop a special place just for Squidoo lensmasters over age fifty. Late in May a controversy on SquidU about the RocketMoms program made me suddenly decide to go ahead and start the new group. I'm so glad I did.
Lensmaster Drifter0658 designed the logo:

Are you a Squidoo lensmaster over age fifty?
Come join the Senior Squids!
I also volunteered to be part of the second session of RocketMoms. It is starting now, and should be a lot of fun.
