Summer Homework

For Assignment B you will be finding, reviewing and bookmarking various online resources.  Scroll down for details.

Solving Linear Equations

Find one (1) online resource to help someone review how to solve linear equations. Note: You can't use one that someone else has already posted.

The web page needs to be one (1) of the following types of resources.

1) A online explanation with examples. One of the best sites is Purple Math. (Which you can't use since I did.)
2) A YouTube video that shows an example of how to work a problem. Here is one that reviews fractions.
3) A web page that allows students to practice online. Here is a page where you can practice using the Pythagorean Theorem.
4) A page that lets teachers print practice worksheets such as this one. (Other than EdHelper.com)
Extra Credit: A page that uses games to learn or practice Solving One-Step Linear Equations.

Write a short description (less than 20 words) for the page. Post the URL and your description in the comment section below.

Web Pages You've Found

When posting your description, remember to only use your first name and last initial.

this link is #1 on the list.
I preferred this link because it gives a good description of the process. I really found it help full how it used the term "undo".
