My Favorite Line Dance Songs for Line Dancin' Fun!!

Ranked #787 in Music, #23,103 overall

I Love Line Dance Songs!

I love line dance music! Whether it's slow songs for line dance instructions, or "Achy Breaky Heart", my feet start tappin' and I smile all over! I have a tape I made for a line dance class. It has the songs in the same order as the step sheets. But I find myself just playing the tape all the time, whether I'm dancin' of not!!! Keep the line dancin' fun going!!

It's the Music!!

Everyone who line dances has their favorite songs for any particular line dance. But no matter where the line dancing takes place - America, Germany, France, Australia, England, and many other countries, the music is the same. And most of the time, it's by the American artists and sung in English. I guess they just listen to the music, not the words.

The other day I did a Google search for a line dance that I choreographed called "Under the Hood" by Billy Ray Cyrus. I was SHOCKED to find the step sheet in German! It was so cool! "Side step right, step left behind right" became Schritt mit R nach rechts, LF hinter RF kreuzen! But the title, and all the header information was in English. I would love to see a line dance video of a class in German. There are many on YouTube in French and it's interesting to listen to the instructor over the music.

I tend to prefer the older, more classic line dance songs, like those by George Strait, Chris LeDoux, The Tractors, Garth Brooks, and Willie Nelson but, when Shania Twain became popular, it seemed that ALL of her songs were great for line dancing! And, of course, "Achy Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus really got line dancing rolling in a big way. And now there is a whole new breed of Country and Western singers, and new line dances to go with their songs.

The Only Line Dance CD You Will Ever Need. . .

for learning, practicing, and teaching!

the line dance cd review

I LOVE THIS CD!!! I PRACTICE WITH IT EVERY DAY. IT'S SO MUCH EASIER THAN SEARCHING AROUND FOR JUST THE RIGHT CD WITH THE SONG I NEED FOR A PARTICULAR STEP SHEET! TRY IT OUT - YOU'LL LOVE IT AS MUCH AS I DO. .

Paul Fitz-Patrick was asked the question, "Do YOU Have a Line Dance CD?" so many times, that he finally decided to produce one.

However, it's not just a collection of line dance songs with recommendations about what line dance fits the song.

Basically, it is a collection of instrumental tracks that allows you to practice and learn a particular line dance at a speed that is comfortable for you.

The Line Dance CD has 20 tracks and 3 waltz bonus tracks. The songs - which are 2-1/2 to 3 minutes long, increase in speed by about 7% to 12%.

You simply pick the speed that is most comfortable for you. After you have mastered that speed, you move on to the next speed.

the line dance cd

The Benefits:

You won't have to search for a song in order to practice a particular dance. Just grab your step sheet and find a track that is a speed you are comfortable with.

Everything you need to practice and learn is on one CD. It's so convenient and easy!

I remember when I started to line dance, I joined every music cd club I could find so I could get all the songs I needed! Some of the CDs only had one song I needed, and other had a few more. I ended up with over 200 CDs. After a lot of trouble, I copied the tracks I wanted to my pc and then made a cassette of the songs I wanted for practice, in the order I wanted them! Way too much work!

If I had had Paul's CD back then, I would have been able to learn and practice my step patterns and dances with much more ease!

Who is it for:

YOU. . . and everyone else who loves to line dance!

If you are a beginner, it's invaluable because it allows you to practice your line dance moves at a comfortable speed.

For intermediate and advanced dancers, it gives you the opportunity to fine tune your moves at a speed you find works for you.

It also allows you to practice those difficult patterns at a slower speed instead of just resorting to counting the steps over and over.

For instructors, it's a great benefit for your students. As you teach the different patterns for a new line dance, you can use the slower tracks after you have taught the steps by just counting and get your students used to doing the different patterns to music. As they become more proficient, you can increase the speed until they have learned all the patterns. Then, put what they have learned to the original music for the dance.

"The Line Dance CD" will save you money, time and frustration by giving you all the practice tracks you need all on one CD. How can you afford not to get it?

HEY....It's only $17 plus s&h and has a 30-day Money Back guarantee!

Who is Paul Fitz-Patrick?

Paul has been a line dancer since the 1990s and taught line dance classes for a short time.

Being a professional musician for about 12 years, he had the knowledge and skills to create this CD from scratch. Over the past several years, with lots of blood, sweat and tears and a great deal of fun, he developed "THE Line Dance CD".

Line Dancin' Fun!

When we lived in Hawaii, we line danced at least once a week. We always had our class, and sometimes a public performance or two. We would go to watch and, if we were feeling brave, we would participate.

When we weren't out dancing, we were at home practicing with our line dance step sheets and line dance videos. I even had an exercise video that was line dancing.

After line dancing for about six months, we started getting fancy. My daughter, Nicolette, had a pair of bright red line dancing boots with fringe down the full length of the sides. They looked really neat when she danced. With our plainer boots, we would wear one boot bracelet on one of the boots. These were usually made of beads that sparkled when we twirled around the dance floor. We also wore cute little earrings made with miniature cowboy hats. It was a lot of fun. We met some very nice people who were all passionate about line dancing.
