Who Is Linette Gerlach?

I've loved to create, and write since the second grade. I started writing corny poems and stories as soon as I could put words to a page. You can check out some of my favorite things, and favorite sites all together on this lens.

I spent many years in the corporate world, and now I am taking the time to get back in touch with my creative side. I am enjoying the process and I hope that you enjoy what you see here. Blogging is my passion, but Squidoo is my addiction.

I think blogging and Squidooing go very well together. I think of my Squidoo lenses as blog posts on steroids. I enjoy taking a subject I've blogged about and expanding it into a Squidoo lens.

A Few Of My Favorite Things:

I'm a professional blogger, and writer. I have my own home and garden blog The Home and Garden Cafe, where I share home decorating tips, recipes, gardening tricks, and gadgets.

I love to plan parties, for all ages. I have a party planning blog called The Kid's Birthday Fun Review. I have a series of lenses on party planning, check out a few of them below. I'm hoping to add a series of party lenses on food, decorations, activities, cakes, and more!

I love reality TV, especially Big Brother (check out my Big Brother lens listed below), and American Idol. I also enjoy going to see movies (I have a collection of movie lenses) on opening weekend is another favorite, especially family, or children's movies, since it's usually a family outing. I have a short attention span for one subject. I think another name for it is adult ADD. I think that's why I enjoy blogging and Squidooing so much. I can write about whatever I'm in the mood to right that moment. If it doesn't fit in a blog post, it'll make a great Squidoo lens:)
