What it's all about
Linked to Politics is the first social networking site designed to connect the voice of the people with legislators, lobbyists, the media, bloggers, campaign staffers, etc. This platform enables you to use multiple mediums for expression and it also allows you to connect with like minded people involved in politics.
Use this platform and let your voices be heard. Remember it is "We the people..." but only if the people participate.
(Election Day 2008 is November 4, 2008)
What's so great about Linked to Politics?
1. It's a place you can share your ideas. Ok, so you can do that on lots of other social networkings sites and forums - but we're unique. How? We welcome open and honest debate, not anonymous name-calling that is so typical of other forums.
2. A place to network with other political junkies and professionals. While other social networking sites are business oriented, Linked to Politics is designed with the political junkie and professional in mind. It's all about politics.
3. It's a place where people with common causes and movements can gather, network, plan, strategize, and get active. The best part is that you can tap into people who care about your cause and you aren't restricted by geography.
4. Use Linked to Politics in conjunction with other Social Networking sites. Some of the more established sites have advantages that we don't, we'll admit that. But then again, we have some advantages they don't.
5. It's a place where campaigns can utilize an established platform of communication for supporters. Why reinvent the wheel? Utilize Linked to Politics to create a private group where you can poll, test ads and messages, post video, etc. just for your supporters.
6. News feeds. Want to know what's going on in politics - there are more newsfeeds constantly updating on Linked to Politics than just about anywhere else.
7. Got something to advertise to the political community? Why waste time, money and effort advertising to the general population when all you really want to do is touch politically-minded people. You can do that here. And since we are brand new, you can do it for a great price!
8. If you have a blog and you are looking for content, I can guarentee you'll get something that will be blog-worthy here.

How Your Campaign Can Use Linked To Politics
Here's the thing, you can create a private, password protected group on the site. Why do this? While it's nice to publically display alot of information about the campaign, there are some things you want to remain private, or atleast just for supporters - fundraisers, inside campaign strategy, polling, etc. Linked to Politics offers campaigns a place to gather supporters in a private online setting.
It's easy to set up and use. I'm always available to assist you in setting up your own private campaign group. And rather than typing out all the instructions, let me know if you need help. Otherwise, it's pretty self-explanatory on the site itself.
