Thanks for pointing this out to me. I could not find Derek's tea bag tiles. This is unfortunate. I hope he can re join the tea bag folding community soon. Let me know everyone if you get any word about his website.

need instructionjs for starry night paper from clip'n art crafts please
  • paperfacets May 17, 2012 @ 3:47 pm | delete
Sorry it has taken me so long to reply to your question. The Starry Night tile is very pretty since it is symmetrical on all corners almost any pattern would fold up beautifully. The wreath would be pretty and the color is perfect for the Holidays, or Lesson #2 in Tea Bag Folding | A Paper Folding Craft.

I am trying to put together one of Tinys patterns called Land of the midnight Sun. I have all 8 pieces assembled as per the instuctions and they all look correct. The first 4 go together but the second 4 I cannot see how they slide in. Her instuctions show the diamond loose and it can slide over the middle sections. Mine have a flap that will not let them slide. Anyone done this and can guide me???
  • paperfacets Jul 18, 2010 @ 2:25 pm | delete
Hi Alex, The pattern you are referring to must be from a newer book. I did not see it in my Tea Bag Folding and More Tea bag folding. Which one is it in. I will get the book and try it.
  • JaguarJulie Jun 18, 2010 @ 4:01 pm | delete

when you have finished folding teabags and need a cuppa you'll need a nice tile to put your wet teabag on.

I am a relative beginner with tea bag folding. I love the way the single design disappears into the overall kalidescope. Even questionable patterns improve with the hiding of parts and repetition of the rest. Thanks for the lens.
