There was a lot of optimism last year and the very first game, Stafford went down with a almost season ending shoulder injury. All hope was lost, but then you so the Lions win the last four of the season against Playoff teams. These wins were put together by a no name staff, except Suh. That is is why there is optimism, that's why things are changing. With that optimism came more free agents to the Detroit Lions to solidify their Defense. The Lions also had a stellar draft, picking up a speedy wide out for their slot position. Everyone who has been watching this team over the last year knows the Detroit Lions luck is about to change, and maybe, just maybe they are playoff off bound. That is, if.... the Lions quarterback Matt Stafford can make it through the season.

The Ford Family owns the Lions. I do believe they have finally put together the front office, Coaching staff, and talent to get to the playoffs. By having a superstar quarterback, the team could be very good for a long time to come!
