Our Girl Scouts made their own lip gloss with vaseline and drops of candy flavoring. I kept one for myself... cherry flavor.

Thank you very much for these recipes! My daughters and I go through so many tubes of lip gloss, I ought to own stocks in Bonne Bell.

add petrleum jelly with Kolaid. it works well
  • Tiffany Feb 19, 2010 @ 5:29 pm | delete
I was just thinking how "natural" and safe petroleum jelly and koolaid are.

Do you know petroleum jelly is a byproduct of the processing of crude oil into gasoline, plastic, and other crap that is generally accepted as NOT safe for human consumption? Putting it on your lips seems beyond foolish, as this is some of the thinnest skin in your body, in addition to being impossible to avoid ingesting through your mouth. The petroleum industry has fooled us into thinking this garbage is safe to apply to our skin (even babies' bottoms!), because they can't afford to dispose of it responsibly, as the environmental waste it really is. By convincing us it is safe, they can profitably slip it into all kinds of commercial skin care products. Double win for them. Double lose for us.

Hi. Fantastic lens, I've given it 5 stars. I've just been working alongside Missy Munoz to create an anti-aging product called Rejuvenate: Turn Back The Clock

I like the look of your lens and feel you could be a great JV partner. If you're interested in promoting it then take a look at http://www.turn-back-the-clock.com/partners for details and email me at revitaliseyourhealth@gmail.com for a preview copy.

    Thanks,
    James
