Lisa Wilkinson a new breed of presenter.

Lisa Wilkinson (born 19 December 1959 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian journalist and television personality, and currently a co-host of the Nine Network's breakfast television program Today, along with Karl Stefanovic.
Her career began with a baptism of fire at the age of 21. Dolly magazine designed for the teenage demographic took the chance to take on Lisa as the youngest ever editor of the magazine. Within Four years Lisa had managed to triple the circulation of the magazine and cementing a place for the brand for many years to come.

Her television career began in the late 1990s when she was a regular panelist on Network Ten and Foxtel's Beauty and the Beast. During the 2000 Summer Olympics, she (along with Duncan Armstrong) co-hosted The Morning Shift on the Seven Network. In 2005, she began hosting Weekend Sunrise.

On 6 May 2007 it was revealed Wilkinson was in talks with Nine Network on hosting Today after Jessica Rowe left the network. On 10 May 2007 it was confirmed that Wilkinson was to co-anchor Today. Her last appearance on Weekend Sunrise was 6 May 2007, her last time on the Seven Network; Samantha Armytage replaced Wilkinson on Weekend Sunrise. She initiated her hosting duties on Today on 28 May 2007

Over the next decade, she oversaw Cleo's rapid circulation surge which resulted in a doubling of circulation and guiding it to the position of the No. 1 selling women's lifestyle magazine per capita in the world. Later she became Cleo's International Editor-in-Chief, running editions in New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Apart from her unrivalled magazine skills, Lisa is a leading business mentor.

Under her special brand of guidance and training, there are now 18 women and men around the world who have gone on to become successful magazine editors themselves.
