Lisa Frank Stickers

I remember it like it was yesterday: my sister and I, with our respective sticker collections, would roll out all of our products every Saturday in my sisters room and play sticker and stationary store. We would then proceed to buy, sell and trade each others stickers and stationary. My sister, being older, had the most coveted stickers and she made me pay if I wanted something good. So there I was, a girl of 8, shelling out a whopping 15 cents to get some top dollar Lisa Frank stickers and accessories.

I no longer have my Lisa Frank stickers, but to this day, I remember the vibrant colors and how the whimsical artwork encouraged my imagination as a child. Go back to the 80's with me and fall under the spell of Lisa Frank!

I received a sticker pack like this when I was 13, for Christmas. Oh, I loved it when times were simple and the bright colors carried me away to a magical place.

Now, if I daydream, I'm usually at work and my boss gets mad! If only they could feel the enchantment of Lisa Frank too!

My outspoken 3 year old niece received 2 packs of Lisa Frank stickers for her birthday and she absolutely went crazy for them. She constantly wears stickers all over her body and whenever she misbehaves, my sister takes those stickers away. You better believe my niece straightens out her bad behavior right away.

Back in the 80's, Lisa Frank stickers were all the rage. Kids loved to collect them, trade them and plaster Lisa Frank stickers all over their school supplies and clothes. I was one of those kids who loved the bold colors, the imaginative artwork-the bright eyed koala's, the dancing bears, the kissing fish, the enticing gum ball machines, the jumping dolphins, the unicorns, the piano hands, the fairy lands, the ice cream cone stickers. I loved them all then and I love them now. It is my hope that young kids today will appreciate them as much as I did, because they really are transcendent of time. The spirit of Lisa Frank stickers is one of color, fun, beauty and a little bit of child like wonder.
