Who or What is LisaMarieArt

As I'm slowly approaching that wonderful milestone in life known as the big 30, I thought it was about time I became a little less elusive and let my customers, friends and the rest of the world know a little bit more about me! One thing I can tell you straight away is... I'm very indecisive!! So if this lens keeps changing colors or losing modules... don't worry! It's just Miss Indecisive paying a visit!

Like with my art, animals have always been present in my life and boy has there been a lot of them.

I can't remember the exact order in which they were around but here goes:

A rabbit called Snowy

A cat called Smokey

A tank full of tropical fish. Guppies, Siamese Fighting fish, Neon Tetras and Angel fish to name but a few.... don't ask me their names!

About a squillion goldfish! Names included Bob, Shub, Lil Bob, Spotty, Manson, and Joey.

A little brown mouse called Ferdinand until I discovered it was a girl and changed it to Fern.

A white budgie called Snowy... how inventive!

I've lost count of the number of hamsters. Hammy was my first, followed by Happy, Hammy 2, Brownie Poopa, Creamy and countless others.

Then comes the rats:

Ratty, Taz, Willow, Buffy, Tara, Frankie, Ville, Jordie, Maynard, Devlin, Gigantous, Minimoo, Odhran and my present rats Slippy and Skins

Soon after leaving university I became a wallpaper and soft furnishing designer. I wasn't there long (6 months) but I did learn a few techniques and tips which I still use today!

Many of the designs I created were fun, novelty designs and mainly for the American market.
