Particle Physics, String Theory, and Transdimensional Cosmology
Lisa Randall is one of the leading young thinkers in particle physics, having become the first tenured woman theoretical physicist at both MIT and Harvard, where she now teaches.
Time Magazine named Lisa one of their 100 Most Influential People in 2007 for her work regarding the evidence of higher dimensions.
Three reasons to love Lisa Randall
- Lisa Randall's Readings on Physics
- Lisa Randall contributes to Amazon.com's Grown-up School.
- Warped Passages
- Lisa's Book is probably the most accessible explanation of transdimensional physics available, but it is nonetheless as authoritative as theoretical physics can be.

Lisa Randall at a Glance
Lisa Randall (born June 18, 1962) is an American theoretical physicist and a leading expert on particle physics and cosmology. She works on several of the competing models of string theory in the quest to explain the fabric of the universe. Her most well known contribution to the field is the Randall-Sundrum model, first published in 1999 with Raman Sundrum. - Of course, the larger question remains: "If that's true, how can we use that exquisitely elegant theoretical knowledge to blow things up?

- Hmm, we might be living in a 3-D sinkhole in a higher-dimensional universe and not even know it. Plus, her research may tell us why gravity is soooo weak?
