Who could blame them? Internet Scams and Lies have all been experienced by you and me. Having to sort things out for a year just to know what is real and what is not is no walk in the park, trust me. I had to sort our the information slowly to know whats real, I guess that's where the research diligence really paid off.
This is the other side of the coin. :)
In Affiliate marketing or any business, education is one of the basics that is worth investing on, although there are free sources out there, most of what I encountered are linking to another page of this product... yada yada yada..
Let's cut to the chase here and get right in the middle of this to answer this question : What do I need to learn/ Invest on? There are free sources here and there are also paid ones to learn affiliate. The paid ones however, sell for really dirt cheap but offer REAL value.

Simple :
As long as there is internet connection, earning a fortune is possible.
- No recruiting unlike network marketing or MLM. Money was a big issue for me, because I wasn't making any yet, and was forced to use what is left for fare and food going to "meetings" and all that traditional stuff. It really didn't work at least for me. It made me hungry most of the time and I lost a lot of weight( in a bad way, no thanks to the product I was promoting)
- You can do it using free methods. there are many FREE methods out there to promote a company, product or service. As long as there is internet connection, earning a fortune is possible.
- Joining an Affiliate program is free. Whatever you are interested in, there is a product or service out there waiting to be recommended to people.
- No scams. No lies. We are all tired of that, aren't we? Just answer the needs of searchers online through research and show them what they want through your product and service, and make money. Simple, but not easy.
Affiliate Marketing is a Business...

It takes guts and risk....You cannot learn affiliate marketing or internet marketing for that matter from any course at school.
It is a constant self-learning experience...
This state of mind can take you higher. Why? Let me count thy ways...
- There are things to learn everyday, so effort on your part as a business owner to learn a little more than yesterday is a must, no matter how little or how huge.
- It takes time. Unlike all the scams and hype of "get-rich-quick", it really takes time (and money in the future) to slowly build, earning here and there, then eventually making a fortune.
- It takes guts and risk. You cannot learn affiliate marketing or internet marketing for that matter from any course at school. It is a constant self-learning experience, but again unlike employment, the more you learn, the profits can return exponentially.
- And one of the most important of all, investing in everything you can learn about affiliate marketing would save you time and hasten up results you want.

Here are real, genuine, low cost marketing tools (reports, e-books, videos and guides) that I can find that has helped me in my journey from start till now. And this is from an affiliate marketer with little money to just-getting-by status.
I cannot critique them (the "gurus") for using high prices, as a beginner whose trying to make some honest living online, stuff like that just won't cut. Investing a little money ( and I mean really little ) for specialized knowledge in some areas such as Blogging, Squidoo, Article Distribution and Traffic Generation proves investing some money can really get you more.
- Making Effective Plans
- This helps sort out scams and confusing information that could just waste your time and money. Too many Internet marketing books tell you the "what", when you really need the "how". They tell you, "You need to upload your sales page to your website." But, they never show you the steps of actually uploading that website - they don't show you the "how".
Set Yourself Up For Success. There is no rush. Build the foundation step by step. For a fraction of the cost. Economy still stinks, ain't it?
This is I think one of the most crucial parts of planning, so a little more investment on my part was not a problem. Getting it somewhat right as much as possible with a guide like this was worth it.
