Using List Builders to Build Your own List.
Two years ago I started my Network Marketing journey down the right path. Prior to this time I had tried many times to have some success with it. I was hearing and reading all over that having your own list was Key. The problem was that I had no list and at the time did not have a clue how to build one. This is when my Mentor introduced me to the fact that I could use other peoples list to get started. I took this advice and built on it. Here is a great site if you would like more knowledge on how to use attraction marketing to build your own mailing list.
I started doing searches on the internet around list building and using other peoples list. During my search I was introduced to List Builders and joined the first one that seemed was going to provide me the most value.
Note: Most listbuilders are Free to join but have a One Time Offer at a cost which allows you to mail to 100 to 6000 people every 3 to 5 days. Doing these upgrade offers has been Extremely rewarding for me.
Using these list builders and the functions they offer I have built my own personal opt in List. Visit my blog which is dedicated to internet and network marketing home business education. I will be reviewing several different list builders and traffic sources that I have used to build my personal list.

Not All List Builders are Equal in Performance.
You can use list builders to build your own list or ad to your current list. I highly recommend though that you Do Not just go out and start joining a whole bunch of list builders. Do research on them or ask someone who has used many of them like myself. There are definitely ones that I have paid money to upgrade that have been a complete waste for me. Then there have been a couple of Rockstar listbuilders that I recommend everyone get the upgraded account with.

My favorite is Viral Url List Builder.
I have averaged getting 8 people per week to join my personal mailing list using Viral Url at the Diamond membership level.
The Diamond membership allows you to be able to email 6000 random members of their list every 3 days from their server. It also has great features which can allow you to get viral traffic to any page of your choice.
I also really like ListQuik List Builder. I average getting 4 new people per week added to my personal list with this list builder at the Premium Pro membership. This membership level is a Life time upgrade and is reasonably priced. Here I can email 1250+ people every 5 days.

Things To Do Before Starting Wtih List Builders.
Before you join any listbuilders to help you with building your own list I highly recommend that you first create a couple of free gmail email accounts.
It is also Very Important that you have some sort of lead capture page to advertise to the people on these lists.

- Jeremy, you really hit the nail on the head with this lens. So many people do not fully understand the power of List Builders. Advertising in list builders does work when you are offering something that the members want. Like you said, using a lead capture page is the one thing you must do to start truly building your own list and making sales for life.
