  • ART-aid Dec 20, 2010 @ 6:11 pm | delete
thanks for this lens --working with the automatic lists on squidoo was driving me crazy and I kept messing up something in the coding... until now!
  • jp1978 Dec 4, 2010 @ 11:25 am | delete
How about lists inside a border? I can't figure it out!
  • starhorsepax Dec 12, 2010 @ 5:38 pm | delete
I just figured that out. If you go to do the border like on this page: http://www.squidoo.com/html-backgrounds- you have to switch the tags for the or tags. And add the list style type at the end. I haven't tried anything but none for a style type yet though.
  • BuildingBlockToys Nov 2, 2010 @ 1:41 pm | delete
This is just what I wanted. Thanks for making this lens.
  • ahill92 Oct 4, 2010 @ 7:04 pm | delete
Your explanations were simple to follow, but my outcome isn't the way I want. My bullets and text are centering in the center of the page for each line instead of making a justified list. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I've tried putting the tag before the list but that doesn't seem to make a difference.
  • ahill92 Dec 5, 2010 @ 1:28 pm | delete
Finally got it figured out. Thanks for the initial help.

Great lens...5*s...I will feature it to my Squid-School lens later today. However, I have a question for you - I just created a lens called Amazon Associate Program, but if you look at my 4th section (with bullet points) - I can't seem to apply the background color to the bullets - what am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Hey, this is a great lens - 5 stars!

I would like to know how to put bullet points in columns across a page on a Squidoo lens. I know outside of Squidoo you can use the tag, but I don't think you can on Squidoo.

    Please send me a message.

    Thanks.

I like lists, but too many look to boring. That's why I haven't done any. This will have to go to the How to Squidoo Library lens. Thanks! *****

Great stuff! Full points for making it so easy to understand.
  • kab Oct 14, 2008 @ 10:12 pm | delete
Another thing to note is that if you put all of the code on one line (no line breaks) then it reduces the vertical whitespace between the listed items.

Thanks, Glen. I couldn't find this info anywhere on the web in a digestible format. Then I suddenly remembered your Advanced HTML lens and immediately searched for you on Squidoo!
