There are few pleasures finer than reading something appealing.  Here are resources to find exactly what makes you happy as a reader, whether you are a second grader with a voracious appetite for books, a teenager who has still not found the right hook into reading, or a grown-up looking for a good story.

 And there's nothing better than reading a great story, except writing one.  Teachers and parents especially will be interested in our ideas about how to turn kids into lovers of story and writing.

LitLife serves teachers, parents, librarians, educational specialists, administrators, caregivers: all those who are working to nurture the literate lives of children.

The LitLife Team provides communities with many ways to learn more about the teaching of reading and writing: school residencies, workshops on reading and writing, evening study groups, summer symposia and specialized consulting for individual needs.

LitLife is dedicated to nourishing the development of children's literate lives by nourishing the learning of the adults who surround them.

Books for Boys
Books for Boys is a dynamic literacy program designed to enhance and nourish the reading and writing lives of the boys who live at the Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry, New York.

Through community efforts and individual and group donations, the Books for Boys program has developed children's libraries in each of the residential cottages at Children's Village.
