Learn To Litter Train A Kitten

You need to choose the right supplies when you litter train a kitten. Make sure to get a small shallow litter box so your kitten can actually climb into the box. Also get some pet friendly cat litter so your kitten will be safe.



Sometimes if it is a clay type of litter, your kitten may try to eat it, so watch them.



Be consistent and it will pay off when you potty train your kitten.

 

Be the mom when you litter train a kitten, especially after your kitten eats. Take a warm cloth and wipe their rear, then place them in the litter box. Scratch the litter to try to coach them in going. Have patience though because you don't want them to have fear when your litter training your kitten.

If your Kitten messes up, don't me mad at the. Just like when kids have accidents your cat will to. I recommend to not punish them at all when you're in the beginning stages of litter training. Just be consistent and they will learn to potty where you want them to.

 

Watch when you litter train a kitten, especially when there playing. Sometimes while your kitten is playing around you may notice them lingering off to a corner or somewhere secluded. If you notice this just simply pick the kitten up and place it in the litter box. Don't forget to scratch the litter with your fingers, this will your kitten to put a sound with an action.

Anytime you notice your cat acting a little unusual, they may be getting ready to potty.
