Boy Meets Boy

I stumbled upon this comic back when I was in college. It's a funny, romantic and sometimes dramatic - and outright wacky! - comic featuring a cast of nifty characters. The main stars are a lovely, gay couple who met in a bloody, fantastic way. Joining them are their friends, bandmates, neighbors, bosses... all varying in personality and sometimes intelligence and level of evilness. The comic ran for a good, few years while it lasted. I wish it still continued today, but I love going back and reliving the fun all over again!

Mory's Education

This little comic has another, soft spot in my heart. It's about a geek named Mory and her lovable friends and classmates. Mory is one of the geekiest characters I have encountered and had the joy of reading about. There's a lot of other, fun characters who also boast some, interesting characters that do play on stereotypes and cliches here or there. But that is part of the charm of this comic. I was very excited when the artist/author went with a mini-episode and ventured off her usual path, but ended when she felt she needed to move on. It was a fun ride nevertheless and this one also has re-read value.

Dreamless

Dreamless is a very, well written and wonderfully drawn drama about a girl and boy with a special connection with one another. Set during pivotal times in history too, the surroundings add to the otherwordly-ness of these two and their story. To go on more in depth would be to spoil, so please take the time to check out and read this captivating comic.

You can already tell by the title this is another geeky comic and yet another, fun look at it too. This comic revolves around such a geek and his fellow, geek friend. Although one is more mature than the other, he does have his geeky moments too. One of them also has a geeky girlfriend, who brings some femininity to the comic, but don't be fooled - she's got a 'pair' of her own. Anywayz, it follows their whacky adventures, from working in the shop to midnight releases, from epic fights and quests to the occasional strip highlighting a classic or current game. Gamers will especially like this one, so check it out sometime!

Now this title leads onto the fact it does have questionable content. It's hilarious though. Following various characters through their lives, as they work, (try to) study, play, date, get into one another's business, try to get in one another's pants. Oh and it also has robots.

Yes, it's kinky. Set in a fantasy world, where the rules are in-fact different - if still similar - this comic follows a newly, owned slave as she gradually enters the world of her Mistress. Great designs, with some cute and fun moments, this one might tickle someone's fancy.

School Bites

A more, girly comic, this one follows a young girl who ventures into a school for vampires and other creatures. FUN is the best way to put this one - from the artwork, to the characters, to the antics they get into. Plus, a lot of guest artists like to leave their mark in this one sometimes. Check it out and enjoy!

Devil Bear

A fiendishly fine series about the Devil Bear and his minions. Has some, funny takes on some classic characters we've known over the years. Lots of wordplay and puns. Very, stylized and colorful art.

Red String

Like drama, romance and manga-style art? You'll love Red String! It follows a young girl, whose world turns upside down when she discovers she is getting married to someone she doesn't even know. They accidentally meet and form a relationship from then on. Gradually, other characters relationships, and more drama is introduced. Very enjoyable cast and storyline, this one keeps me reading and wondering what is going to happen next!

Dark Brain Comics

Dark Brain is the latest website of comics I have discovered. Dark Brain comics are unique in that the pages are animated in sequence and boast audio in the form of music and voices for the script. The stories are a mixture of drama and fantasy, crime and supernatural, with VERY adult themes and content. Deep down, they are very character driven and tell a good tale. The artwork is very well drawn, the pacing well executed and the voice acting is probably one of its best qualities. The site offers some stories to view for free, censored and you can sign up for a free account to see some of it uncensored. To get the whole experience though, you'd have to get a paid account.
