Things I Love About Littleton

There is so much to love about Littleton. All year long, there are community activities, places to go, great food, good shopping and more. The city and local chamber of commerce host many fun family events throughout the year.

This past weekend was the annual "Wild on Littleton" block party. They close off Main Street and have a great party with food, live music, shopping and activities of all sorts.

In August of each year is Western Welcome Week. It is a week of exciting family events including the grand parade down Main Street. This year in 2008, Western Welcome Week celebrates its 80th Anniversary!

Not to be missed in the fall is the annual crazy event the Downtown Pumpkin Follies and Goat Show. Don't ask...you just have to see it for yourself.

Opening the holiday season each year is the annual Candlelight Walk down Main Street. Usually held the weekend after Thanksgiving, Littleton once again shuts down Main Street so residents can gather for fun and festivities with friends. The evening ends with a candlelight walk down Main Street with Santa leading the parade as they light the spectacular holiday lights, turning Downtown Littleton into an enchanted holiday village. Truly, Downtown Littleton is on of the most beautiful places in town on holiday evenings.

Spring and summer bring the weekly farmers market to Downtown Littleton. Get farm-fresh goods each Saturday then peruse the wonderful array of charming shops in Littleton.
