28th Annual Harvest Wine Celebration in the Livermore Valley Wine Country (2009)

The 28th Annual Harvest Wine Celebration will be held over Labor Day Weekend 2009. This event is the primary fundraiser for the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association, and more than 40 wineries will be participating in the festivities. This year the Association will be trying something new. More than 20 wineries will be pouring wine at the Harvest Village—located at Robertson Park—on Sunday and Monday. In addition to wine tasting, Harvest Village will feature live music, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, and appearances by the Oakland Raiders Raiderette's and Northern California Wine Country author Serena Bartlett. Wild Vine will also host a Sparkling Ping Pong tournament. Pack some lawn chairs and blankets and settle in at the Harvest Village.

But that's not all. For those who enjoy visiting the Livermore Valley wineries, there will be more than 20 wineries pouring wine at their resepective winery locations. Each of these wineries will feature music, arts and craft vendors, food vendors, and more. Complimentary shuttle busses will ferry guests to and from participating wineries on Sunday only.

LWVA: On Sunday & Monday of Labor Day, wineries are open to ticket holders only. No outside food or drink is allowed into the wineries or the Village. For courtesy of all our guests, Please leave your pets at home. Thank you. This annual wine country tradition continues to be the primary fundraiser for the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association. We appreciate your support.
