Sweet lens. I have always wanted to go since it was the home to many of my favorite artist. I am aware of how much the city has changed over the years, but it still holds such a romantic mystic. I love the lens and have lensrolled it to all of my Big Island of Hawaii travel lens. Well done!

Oh - almost forgot, congrats on LOTD!

Great lens! I am a busy internet marketer, and I have to see something very pulling for me to go and take the time to read the lens of the day. Well, I did in this case, because I am a French living in America :) I am from Lyon, second largest city of the country after Paris and I've lived in Paris for 5 years before moving to New-York some years ago.

Yes, there sure is a fascination with American for Paris. Yes, Paris is special and full of history, and so are just about ALL cities and towns in the country. Paris is a beautiful city, I used to see the Eiffel tower from my window for 5 years, and yet I have NEVER got tired of it. If you have seen it only on pictures or movies, you really have NO idea about what it really feels like to see the iron lady in "person" LOL. It’s HUGE!

French food is just like no other, I still miss some foods that are just not found here.

Yep, if you don't speak French and want to leave there, you might get a bit stuck. Contrary to some beliefs, most French people do NOT speak any English at all unless it is really required by their profession.

Great job and 5 stars to you  and lensroll your lens with my Paris and French language lenses as well as the dozen lenses that I have about France.

I love, love, love Paris. It would be great fun to live there for a year or two and soak up all the sites, sounds, and je ne sais quoi of Paris and its environs. Of course I'm not sure if I could live in a tiny little apartment with a tiny little bathroom and small closets like most of the places in the heart of Paris. Great 5* lens!!
  • AddaptAbilities Jan 13, 2010 @ 7:37 pm | delete
It looks like I might get to enjoy the skating rink when I'm there later this year. Very informative lens!
