Why Lord Why?
Sometimes we ask questions like, "Why did this great person have to die, but this grumpy, mean, old man keep on living?" I don't know why these things seem off balance, but God does.The Bible tells us that God's grace is for all people, but there will be a time when the sinner will be judged. Those who disregard the Word of God will be punished. Those who fear God are given the promises that it will be well in the end.
We want to share the promises of God that are told in His Word the Bible. It is a gift of hope that we can share by giving a Bible.
As we remember our loved ones, don't get discouraged, God is watching and He alone knows the hearts of men. Our hope is in the Lord, so let us rejoice in saying: "it will be well," when we see Jesus. (SOFM)
Through the Tears, I Will Sing
Whenever anyone suffers a loss, there usually comes a time when our words bring little comfort. That's when we need to reach out to others through the Word of God and through ways only God understands. Often a song soothes the soul, when nothing else can.
The first time I played this song publically was at a funeral my husband conducted. Usually I am asked to sing, but sometimes it is very difficult. Instead, this song quietly played in the background as loved ones and friends paid their respects to a dear one. It was through singing that I was comforted in my time of loss. To me, this songs says what I couldn't.

How did Living Legacy Bible Outreach Begin?
SOF (Shield of Faith Family & Youth Ministries, Inc.) has given out Bibles since we began in 1997, but the Living Legacy Bible Foundation was established in January 2010 in honor of the life work of Lucille M. Tuller. Lucille's passion was for Christ and the Word of God.Throughout her lifetime she was known to give away Bibles to anyone who wanted one, and she often sowed her very own Bible. Lucille even sowed new Bibles she had just purchased for herself. My husband received one of those Bibles.
At the time of her home-going only one of Lucille's many Bibles could be found, leaving her family to believe (more than likely) she had given them all away. Living Legacy Bible Outreach continues to sow Bibles just as my mother, Lucille did.
What is a "Living Legacy?"
Believers in Jesus Christ know that every Christian passes from life-to-life (life here on earth to life eternal in Heaven).Living Legacy Bible Foundation is a ministry that honors the life of a loved one now living in Heaven.
Many purchase Bibles to sow in honor of special events of an organization or accomplishments of an individual.
Others just want to give a Bible, because someone once gave them one.

Because of Who We Are
As Christians, we generally go to Psalms or Proverbs when we need comforting. We find peace and rest in Psalm 23, 34 or 91. But where does the lost soul go to find peace when tragedy or disaster strikes? How can they find peace or know how to be delivered out of evil and fear with no point of reference? We can teach them.We can show them in the Word how to be free from pain and suffering. It is our responsibility to get involved and tell them about eternal life.
With Your Help...
The Bible gives the message of hope, healing and comfort through faith in God. Our primary goal is to win souls for Christ, but in the process, we want to help others by giving hope, peace and rest into their lives through God.
Pray over these Bibles as seed into the Kingdom of God, and that they help the individuals in need. This is a ministry that works for the Lord! Thank you Jesus for your goodness, and for those who give the gift of Your Word.

- Terrific. I never knew about this organization. My church owns a coffee shop in our community where we regularly give away Bibles to seekers and transients passing through. We have supported Gideon's Int'l before, but now I have information from your lens to pass on to the members of our faith community.
