Cheap Living Is All About You!

Cheap Living: The First Step To Living Cheap Is All About You!

You are looking for answers to cheap living. You want to learn how to live more cheaply. You want to hold on to your money. You want to save money. You want to change your spending habits. The first step to living cheap is to readjust your thinking. Most likely you are spending more money than you have or you are spending more money than you should.

In either case, you need to own up to the fact that the only one who can change it is you. It does not matter how you got to this place in your life. It does not matter whose fault you may think it is. Only one thing matters. You have to accept the simple fact that you are the only one that can do anything about it.

Regardless of your situation no one else is going to fix it for you, it is up to you. The very first step you have to take is you must accept the fact that the only person who can fix it is you. Until you do that, you will not be able to live cheap. You will not be able to save money. You will not be able to make any significant changes in your life.

Why? Because living cheap requires changes. It requires you to look at things differently. It requires you to do things differently. It requires you to move away from your comfort zone. Moving out of your comfort zone is hard!

Changing you situation is not going to be easy. You must first adjust your attitude. You must then adjust your behavior. Neither one is easy

In order to live cheap, you have to change the way you do things. You must make changes. Changes are not easy things to make. Change is hard. Change involves uncertainty and trepidation. Those are normal human reactions to change. You have to learn to get beyond that. Change is painful. Change involves moving away from what is familiar and comfortable.

The number one reason people are not successful in any endeavor they plan, is that they never actually do what they plan. You can make all the promises to yourself in the world. You can swear you are going to turn over a new leaf. You can outline every single step you are going to take on this journey to a new financial oasis, but nothing will happen until you do something.

Failure to take action is the number one reason for failure. If you don't actually start, how can you complete your plan?

Getting out of your comfort level. When you are in a comfortable state, you don't want to change. When you are in a comfortable situation, you don't want to move. When you are in comfortable clothes, you don't want to change.
That's the problem with being comfortable. You have to get to a point of being uncomfortable to get your self to change.

What causes you to get uncomfortable? Losing your job? Defaulting on your loan? Having your car repossessed? Having the bank threaten to take your house?

All those things can finally put you into the uncomfortable zone where you finally convince yourself that you have to do something. None of those are very pleasant prospects.

The strategy should be instead, to make yourself uncomfortable enough to make changes before any of those life changing events occur. You have to force that feeling upon yourself.

To start to live cheap the first step is to acknowledge that the only one who can make that happen is you. Then in order to make that happen you have to acknowledge that it is time to move out of your comfort zone. Without those two process occurring, you will never be successful learning to live cheap. Only if and when you accept these premises will you really be able to live cheap.
