    Nice lense. I agree, Spain (or also Portugal in my opinion) is not only about the weather when it comes to "climate" - the entire culture is so different in a very positive way. I review cameras, check e.g. the p500 nikon review and the nikon p100 review.
    I used both of these on my own last trip to Madrid, Spain. I am originally from the US, so that was somewhat a longer trip than from the UK like the author. And moving there would be unfortunately a little bit more involved, as well.

    Very informative lens. It's said Spain is one of the best country for the retirement. "Slow down and enjoy life, just like the Spanish do." It's so attractive life style. I believe the folks has a lot of peace in the heart though the OX fighting is one the popuplar sports in Spain. I also read some Alicante Informatic for travelling purpose before, I like the life style in Spain.

    Good personal experience lens, lots of potential! However, I have to disagree with the following: "Having never been a particularly wealthy nation."     I spent a summer in Spain when I was in college studying at the Univ. of Salamanca and loved it! My husband and I just returned from a trip through Europe and only got to spend 3 nights in Spain (Barcelona and Madrid). I hope to go back for longer next time!! 5*s
