It is worth learning the basic principles for increased website traffic and search engine rankings. Start with creating a site with valuable content, products or services.

Place primary and secondary keywords within the first 25 words in your page content and spread them evenly throughout the document. Research and use the right keywords/phrases to attract your target customers.

I just found some amazing local business and social media stats. Here's a quote from the December 2010 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine, page 58:

You can spread the word about your website, product or service without spending any money.
