Loft Beds With Desk

When my son was just about to turn 7, we had to move to a smaller apartment, which also meant that although he was getting bigger and bigger, he would suddenly have to start living in a smaller room. This fact was even more troublesome for us, parents because we had furniture from our old house, but just didn't have the room to put it in. We had to sell most of it and buy new stuff. Children's room furniture was probably the hardest part, because we wanted to give Timmy as much room to play as possible, while still installing the bed, the desk and the storage space.

Discovering that loft beds with desk exist was a life saver. We bought the Mission Merlot Extra Long Open Loft (the photo is to the right) and loved it. It was perhaps not as colourful as we wanted it to be for a 7-year old, but it guaranteed to serve him well for years to come. And it did. We moved again when he was twelve and the bed was still in such a great condition we could still sell it for half the price.
