The optics on this webcam is really quite good. It even has technology called RightLight that will enhance the contrast and brightness in the event you are using it in a poorly lit room. The clarity of the webcam is quite good for its size and price and the still photos are quite useful as well.

Of course you can use it with any of your favorite messaging software. The QuickCam also comes with Fun Filters towhich changes your online appearance to make those that you call home smile. This is really a great webcamera for your laptop.

The Logitech QuickCam Orbit AF
is my favorite webcam. The clarity is fantastic and it was simple to set up. I even sent one to my parents and they were able to get it up and running in pretty short order. Just about every night I can have a quick chat with my mom and dad and let them know how things are going. It's much more personal than texting or even a phone call.

The neat thing about this cam is that it will track your movements. It has some kind of face recognition where if you move around it will follow right along with you.

The audio is not the greatest but it's really better than most $100 webcam I've ever seen or used. The software is pretty cool too as there is fun animation software you can play around with.

The camera feature is pretty nice. It has an 8 MP setting that takes really good photos. It will correct the lighting and do all the auto-focus stuff too. We are really enjoying this camera.
