See that black piece in the middle there--that's the robber
If he's on a tile, no resources are produced there. So in the case pictured, when a 6 is rolled the person playing the red and natural pieces used to get sheep/wool--now they don't. Believe me, it's not a good thing--unless of course you are the orange or green players!
