London Exhibition Venues

With regards to the number of exhibitions held each year, London is by far the busiest city in the UK. This comes as no surprise when you consider the links and visitor numbers that the city has together with the resources and infrastructure within the city. There are a large number of venues around the city of London which are capable of hosting exhibition venues of varying size, and below is a brief guide to some of the main ones.

Excel Centre London
Having been initially opened in 2000, a second phase of development was completed in 2010 which extended the exhibition space by a massive 50% to cement the venues position as one of the largest and most popular events venue in London. The centre is located on the Royal Victoria Dock and has great links to the city centre and therefore with the rest of the country. The varying nature of the exhibitions which take place here is a testament to the diversity of the venue.

Olympia Exhibition Centre
This is one of the best established exhibition venues in London having been hosting events since the 19th century. The venue is located in Kensington, and despite its slightly dated appearance on the outside, it is a highly modern venue which hosts a wide range of exhibitions each year.

Earls Court Exhibition Centre
A hugely impressive structure, Earls Court Exhibition Centre has been hosting events since 1937 and is one of the most established venues in the city. It is also the largest exhibition centre in the city with exhibition space measuring around 42,000 square metres. In 1991 a second exhibition building, named Earls Court 2, was opened to accommodate the need for further space at the venue.

Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre
Located in Westminster, close to the palace, this is a large exhibition centre which has been hosting events for many years. The popularity of this venue can largely be attributed to its location in the centre of London, but it would not be as prosperous as it is without having top quality facilities and management.

Cavendish Conference Centre
This conference centre is owned by the Cavendish Conference Venues company which has various venues around the city of London. The Cavendish Conference Centre is the company's flagship venue which has 8 meeting rooms and the ability to host hundreds of visitors.
