My Review of the London Live WordPress Theme
I have already been using the London Live theme for about six months on one of my article marketing websites and I think its great! In this article I'll review the London Live WordPress theme which was made by Skyali. I'll talk about the versatile slider, the appearance of the theme and my experience with the developer's customer support.
The reason why I purchased London Live was due to the fact I was looking for a theme with a minimalist design, simple layout as well as the capability to feature my blog posts on the homepage using a slider. The theme also provides a great deal of overall flexibility, it is simple to modify the look and feel by adjusting the options in the easy-to-navigate WordPress Dashboard for London Live. The theme has two unique navigation styles, bright and dark, and includes a customizable slider which can be adjusted to be short or long. Adsense ads are incredibly simply to embed and the website logo is equally as easy to upload and alter.

The Design of the London Live Theme
London Live is sold with two completely different slider designs, one that consumes the entire width of the page and another that consumes only 2/3 of the webpage, stopping short of the sidebar. Each of the slider designs can feature four articles or blog posts of your choosing. The slider displays a large photo (which changes) along with smaller thumbnail pictures. While both designs feature a snippet of article content, the full-width slider design has the capacity to have a greater number of words.
Skyali has made inserting Adense ads into London Live quite simple. All you must do is copy the Adsense code in to the correct text boxes within the WordPress Dashboard. As well as the sidebar being perfectly sized to fit a 300 x 250 ad, this theme also enables you to place a 468 x 60 banner right at the top of the page in-line with the site logo.
The sidebar within the London Live theme fits a large rectangle Adsense ad perfectly, but that's not all it has going for it. The theme comes with five awesome widgets including a nice looking tabbed widget that displays either the most popular posts, newest posts, newest comments or your popular post tags. There also is a cool video widget that allows one to easily embed streaming videos into the sidebar of your webpage.
Widgets Below a London Live Post
Below the blog post content you have the capability to display numerous widgets. Probably the most important of the widgets is the Related Articles widget which showcases the Featured Image of four related articles. Another widget makes it easy for your visitors to share your posts, it displays logos which are links to share on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Digg, Google Reader, Stumble Upon, LinkedIn and Delicious. The final widget below the post displays details about the writer which includes their name, picture and written info about them. Did I mention any one of these can be disabled?
Finally, I've got to mention the comments section that follows the posts. Many theme developers have given the comments section little thought, but fortunately, Skyali isn't one of them. When a visitor leaves comments on your post, the London Live theme does a great job of showing them. The comments are easy to read and understand, not in a clutter like with some other WordPress themes.
While the theme is simple to use and looks fantastic, it's also important that you ensure there's going to be customer support there when you need it. I've installed this Premium WordPress theme on many different blogs and at times I've wanted to get picky and alter a few things which involved me needing to edit the css stylesheet. Every time I've emailed the developer and asked about how to make a modification, he has always answered my enquiry within a day or two. The support which comes with this theme is genuinely excellent.
My one-sentence review of London Live
I strongly recommend you consider London Live for your WordPress theme; it's extremely easy to customize, features a great layout and design in addition to impressively good customer support.
