Dashing Salman Khan and former beauty queen Lara Duttasizzled on the runway for 'Guru' yesterday at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. The brand, born in1999 has made a mark by serving as a platform for trendy men's, women's and kids' clothing. In addition to Italy, the brand is distributed in 17 countries worldwide including Spain, France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Greece, England, Portugal, the Middle East, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Austria, Switzerland and so on. Cute and adorable Darsheel Safary commenced the show carrying winter wear from Italian fashion brand 'Guru'. Darsheel took the lead as other kids looking equally lovable, just followed. Jesse Randhawa took over the show from there, flaunting her flirty witty look on the ramp. Sweatshirts, pullovers, stoles, mufflers and dresses were predominant in the whole range.

The brand showcased lovely straight pants, ankle fitted harems, denims, culottes, cropped pants and jumpers in a palette replete of snow white, grey, cobalt and black. Amazing styling of the show overshadowed the clothes; actually it won't be wrong to say that the styling highlighted the usual winter pret line. Linked chains as neck pieces or even denim accessories are fashionable these days which aptly leveraged into the show. Coral, red, green, black, brown and white tops ruled the runway. Colourful stockings weren't a miss.

Models walked the ramp only in mufflers and knits wrapped on the body at times which appeared to be a creative idea for the presentation. Despite a huge crowed and hot weather, people seemed to be enjoying the display of winter fashion. Perhaps they were desperately waiting for Sal man and Lara to set the ramp on fire which happened after waiting for hours. Lara walked in super white satin cropped jumpers well accessorized with chains and a belt. The arena went crazy hooting and applauding when Sallu appeared as a cool dude and walked with such calm attitude maintaining the same smile throughout. Though his clothes were a little 'sad' than whatever other models carried, especially the shoes, however a single sight of his charming face was sufficient to drive the audience crazy. So much for star power.

The czar of the world of fashion designing, Manish Arora is all set to do what he does best. The designer who has taken Indian fashion to a different level by presenting his designs at international fashion weeks recently presented a small preview of his collection which he is all set to showcase at the upcoming Paris Fashion Week. Held at Agni, The Park Hotel, the designer arrived and welcomed the guests at a delay of around one hour which surely tested the patience level of the people invited for the event! Guess you can o that when you are the Manish Arora! Then he talked about his association with Swarovski which dates back to the first time when he showcased at London Fashion Week. To This Sanjay Sharma of Swarovski revealed, "There are many more collaborative projects in the pipeline%u2026but you have to wait and watch because he (Manish) doesn't want to unveil them right now! "Manish will be collaborating with British artist Kundalini Arts for prints and embroideries on this collection. Meanwhile, Manish emphasized, "This time it's all about geometrical shapes. One will find less of colours. "Manish has played around with some shades of grey, oranges, black, white, ombreand off white. He added, "I have created these elaborate and extravagant jewellery pieces which act as a part of the garment adding more glamour to the creations." With circles, squares and triangles used as the key elements, Manish is all geared up to tease your eyes as he incorporates optical illusions into his designs. Silhouettes are inspired from the era of '80s and include dresses, short skirts, sheer sequined pants and tops. Innovative surface textures are achieved nicely as Manish manages to highlight the collection with exaggerated epaulettes, padded hip details and geometric 3-d dimensional detailing and adorning it with metal chains, sequin embroidery and hand embroidery.
