Connect with Your Grandkids: Fun Ways to Bridge the Miles - Book Review
I did quite a bit of book research to find a good resource for this topic and I chose this paperback because the author, Cheri Fuller, has written dozens of helpful parenting and family life books and articles plus she is a popular speaker and Christian woman's counselor. There's a blog that goes along with the book, where Cheri adds new insightful tips every month.
Join me if you're a grandparent or about to be a grandparent - local or long distance. This book should help us find tips on how to connect with your grandkids and find fun ways to bridge the miles - we can share our own experiences and ideas, too.
After I read this book, I'll add a full review about Connect With Your Grandkids to this lens. For now, check out what I've researched about the book and author and let me know if you've read this book or plan to read it in the future. It's an easy read paperback at only about 200 pages.

Making Memories with My Grandchildren
I have fond memories of my Nana - I want my grandkids to have that experience, too.
I've glanced through part of Chapter One of Connect with Your Grandkids: Fun Ways to Bridge the Miles, and I found one line that really struck a chord with me:
"We can make a tremendous difference in the lives of our grandsons and granddaughters, whether they are two or eighteen, simply by believing in them and staying connected."
I really feel the connection between grandparents and grandchildren is important. I had a close relationship with my maternal grandmother until she passed away when I was 19; I want to try to create the same type of good memories for my grandchildren as I have about my Nana.
