LongShot-X's passion for crafting Master Chiefs Halo Mark VI MJOLNIR Spartan Armor

This page is about sharing my passion for crafting and showing pics and videos of my armoring hobby. Most, if not all of it is HALO related. Here are a few details about Armor Crafting.

It takes a lot of TIME and $$'s to make a suit of this quality, durability and detail. In fact, as I write this description, the suit is still a "Work in Progress" I have more modifications to add and more tweaking to perform on it. Hopefully I can share those processes with you here and on a few other sites that I am on.

A few facts about the suit: Its made of 110lb card stock, fiberglass and Bondo. Has 40 LED's. 30 batteries. 4 speaker audio system that connects to my iPhone. Great for DJ'ing, Public announcements and making phone calls. Over 900 hours of labour and at about $2500.00 in materials. It weighs in at just under 40lbs. Takes anywhere from 15 to 30 min to suit up. Wearing it is very HOT. In fact I end up using about 1/2 a can of deodorant to deal with the excessive perspiration.

More details to add here later. Check out Dave French's foam halo armor.

Cheers!
