Building quality back links to your web site is crucial for building page rank and and getting a decent listing in the search engines. The problem is it can be so #%$^@ time consuming. One free solution I've been having fun with lately is Comment Kahuna. It's a pretty slick tool worth checking out.

Comment Kahuna is a free windows utility that takes the grudge work out of building back links through blog commenting. It's simple to use and will save you huge amounts of time by locating blog posts related to your keywords and then filtering out the nofollow blogs.

Although Comment Kahuna and Real Link Finder serve the same purpose, Comment Kahuna has recently released a few new versions that have made the tool quite valuable to me. It now supports squidoo so it will help you find squidoo lenses to comment on as well. Very big time saver!

Adwords Digger simply ROCKS!

If you're an adwords player then this FREE tool will certainly make you a bunch of money by showing you exactly where to place your ads for maximum benefit.

Simply type in some keywords and it will tell you the top websites to place your content placement ads. It'sd pretty cool to say the least so go grab it and give it a whirl. And no worries, there's no sales pitch or anything like that. It's just free and no strings.

Free Classifieds - USFreeads (Obviously FREE)

Free classifieds. Place your classified ads at USFreeads (they have great page rank) and see how far a little Google juice can take you. Back links from UsFreeads go a long way in the eyes Google. They get indexed pretty much nightly.

Directory Maximizer

If you want to achieve decent organic listings in Google you need one way incoming links from websites with decent Google page ranking. Directory Maximizer is one of the best tools in my arsenal for doing this. They can submit my website to web directories with specific page ranks for only $0.14 per directory. I usually spend $28 for 200 listings in directories with a specific Google page rank of 3 or higher. And of course you can buy links from directories from all range of Google page rank.

Two reasons getting your website or Squidoo page listed in these directories. First is that these are permanent links. Once they're in there they are there for good. Second is that it's very cheap to get listed in smaller and newer directories with low Google page ranks. You can get into hundreds of them for under $30. The bonus part is that although not all of these will grow to be monster directories with Google page rank of 8, but some of them likely will and when they are that big, they will cost you dearly to get into. But since you're already there you can ride the success of the directory all for that original $0.14 you paid to get listed.

Remember, it's not just incoming links I'm buying, but traffic generating links!

EVERY successful marketer knows the mailing list (opt-in) is one of the most important tools they have in their arsenal. Waiting too long to start one is also the number 1 mistake new marketers make. They're inexpensive, easy to use and are responsible for probably a majority of my revenue.

Why do you think so many web sites have an email signup? Because these marketers know that when someone gives them permission to correspond with them through email they now have increased the value of that lead many times over.

Consider this. You're an affiliate marketer and so you're committing time, resources and money to sell a product for someone else. Makes sense, it's a cost of doing business. Besides you're building a business and making money every time you sell something. The problem is, you're not building your business. You're building the business of the guy your sending your leads to. You're paying so he can build HIS list of customers.

If you're not capturing leads with an opt-in you only have one customer and that's the company who's product you're selling. The other guy has the "customers" you only get the commission. meanwhile the company you're promoting can continue to sell to their same customer over and over again while you battle it out for a new lead. It simply doesn't make sense for you to pay to build someone else's business. Get your own mailing list going so you can capture customers and still get the sales commission.

Article Spinner (FREE)

If you're not using an article spinner for your article marketing efforts then I can guarantee you're not getting the most from your article writing efforts.

Article spinners are tools that let you take an existing article and it will spin it into a number of variations which you can then submit to different article directories. Since they're "spun" to be different Google does not penalize you for duplicate content.

Many good membership sites contain article spinning tools so if you're planning on joining one, such as Wealthy Affiliate or Traffic Kahuna then you may not need this tool.

ClickBank is the largest affiliate network for the distribution of digital products. This is usually one of the first places new affiliates start. There are over 10,000 digital products you can market for as much as 75% of the profit!

Pepper Jam Network

One of the relatively new kids on the block is looking to really shake up the affiliate networks. These giuys are very professional and as a result attract some very professional companies for you to market.

can you say ... jelly Belly, Warnar Brothers, Sesame Street, telaflora, and yes ... even Playboy.

Share A Sale

One of the larger networks that deals in all sorts of products and services. Even legal and financial services.

PayDotCom

These guys are new and are hoping to compete with ClickBank. I would definitely check them out. They offer both digital and physical products. It also very easy to become a product vendor here so if you have a product in mind this is a place you should not overlook. I believe the famed super affiliate Mike Filsaime is behind this site.

Commission Junction

Commission Junction is one of the most respected affiliate networks in the business. They offer many tangible products and services you can market.
